Chinese Theatre Circle
"Chinese Theatre Circle (CTC) has been promoting and preserving the traditional art of Chinese Opera since its establishment in 1981. Dedicated to Cantonese opera in particular and led by Cultural Medallion awardee Joanna Wong, the non-profit arts group has presented over 2000 performances in more than 20 countries. Chinese Theatre Circle also runs educational talks and workshops in schools, presents short performances in community settings and corporate engagements, and participates in community festivals. On Friday evenings, it presents "Sights and Sounds of Cantonese Opera", a talk in English with a short performance at its premises in Chinatown. Please visit our Facebook page for more details."
