Hua Yi Enrichment Centre Pte Ltd is leading provider of Chinese enrichment programmes in Singapore. We help overcome the obstacles of learning Chinese in a bilingual country and to also provide a linguistic environment. At Hua Yi Enrichment Centre, we constantly improve and design new methods of teaching Chinese language providing students with a more enjoyable and memorable learning experience. We helped strengthened our partnerships with MOE schools. We provide MOE schools with enrichment courses to supplement the learning of Chinese language. These activities are not only interesting but are also a fun and enriching learning experience for students. The programmes have gain much recognition from schools and students, from training to mastery, we enrich lives through a fruitful, well-rounded and satisfying learning journey. We are providing top quality Chinese programmes, behind us, and invaluable to the project, is a pool of experts with experience in specific fields, including educationalists, Ex-MOE teacher, actor, production director, singer, artist, TV host, reporter.

CHINESE CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

In this series,students are exposed to various aspects of Chinese culture and tradition. Not only will they be brought through 5000 years of Chinese history through exciting cultural activities, but they will also be engaged in various traditional art forms that will further enrich their learning of the Chinese language. Students will be exposed to exciting cultural activities such as calligraphy, martial arts, face-painting, paper-cutting, mask-making, opera and many more! Students will be taken beyond their Chinese textbooks to learn more about Chinese culture in depth through all these hands-on activities. Depending on the school’s requirements, we also offer cross cultural activities together with other ethnic groups such as Malay, Indian and Eurasian to ensure a more enriching experience for the students with our unique holistic approach.

SPEECH & DRAMA

In this series, students’ talents will be nurtured by developing their skills in drama, acting, hosting and public performances. All these will work together towards the objectives of broadening the students’ vocabulary, knowledge, imagination, perception and environment, increasing their proficiency and confidence in the Chinese Language along the way. Students will be taught the proper voice projection, articulation and dramatisation, as well as various styles and forms of performance to make their delivery come to life on stage, it also focuses on developing skills in Speech and Drama and Public Performance, working together towards the objectives of broadening the students’ vocabulary, knowledge, imagination, perception and environment, increasing their proficiency and confidence in the Chinese Language along the way.

CHINESE CREATIVE WRITING

In this series, students will be trained in using unique perspectives to identify the elements required in writing a good composition. They will learn about the various genres and use specific writing techniques to overcome the challenges and limitations of crafting out a composition. we aim to increase their confidence in essay writing and also learn how to analyses comprehension passages. They are able to accomplish these by being grouped to their individual levels, expanding their vocabulary with words which they have learnt and new words from and out of their textbooks.

JUNIOR REPORTER

Broadcast journalists are the frontline of television journalism. They are thought of as the face and voice of a news story. Broadcast journalists must feel comfortable with people looking at their face or listening to their voice. This programme allows students to explore various techniques of broadcast journalism. They will be trained to conduct interviews professionally, report news “live” on site and shoot video footage of newsworthy events as and when they are required to.
