Was impressed with their solution when I first visited their showroom without any appointment. Committed and installed the system. Their team follow up by Wan Yee was great despite some challenges with my own electrician and consultant. Hope that the system will able to last and develop with new features. Also wish the company can continue to develop and scale up their support level to grow their business for a larger pool of customers.

I recently engaged HOME-A-Genius (HAG), and I’m extremely pleased with the experience.After enquiring with several smart home providers, I chose HAG because of their credibility, professionalism, and the strong recommendation from a friend.A big shoutout to Wan Yee, the sales consultant and overall coordinator for my smart home setup. She was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She is clear in her communication, practical in her advice, and mindful of my budget. Although the setup was costly, Wan Yee did her best to customise a solution that met my needs while trimming out unnecessary components.She also went the extra mile by recommending me to M&L Furnishings for smart curtains, which integrated seamlessly into the system.The operations team deserves praise as well. They efficiently connected my lighting setup into the Apple ecosystem, making control smooth and intuitive. Had a great experience with HAG! Caezar, Krish, Dereck, Roland, Sunther were really very friendly and patient with the setup, ensuring helping us with what we want for the smart home setup. They even help us check on what is required for some of the appliances pairing as we are unsure whether it is suitable for integrating into the smart home system. I don't have to worry about whether I remembered to turn off any lights, and that's something really useful for a forgetful girl. 😂

Let's be honest, you dont really need a smart homeAnyway, the packages they as your to sign, is never the final quote. Do know that you will get all your final add ons after they visit your house. We had to fork out extra money to account for the switches etc. Which sounds like "hey this guy just wants more stuff" but no, we are very basic and want just normal functionality like turning on and off lights from our phones.Installation, sales support is solid, cant lie about that. But their switches broke on me, twice, within a year. sounds little? Ask others without smart homes how often their switches breakIt gets difficult when your switch to your bedroom breaks at 11pm at night and there's no support. Understandably so, because working hours, but switches should break in the first place.The sales team is great, just like they should be because... they are sales? Support team is nice when they come. Just that, you really... really dont need a smart home in Singapore (you have no garage door, no thermostat, and oh, any google or apple integration is an add on $$$)

I recently engaged Home A Genius for my new house smart home and the overall experience was good. We actually chanced upon them when we were there for our curtain purchase and simply walked in without any appointment. The lady Wan Yee was welcoming and explained in details the various services they offered which made us understand better the idea and set up of having a smart home and we were impressed that we decided to engage them. The whole process was smooth and they actively engaged with my ID and electrician on what is needed and provided timeline too as we were on tight timeline to move in prior CNY.Overall am satisfied and thanks to the team we have the smart home we wanted and kudos to Wan Yee for the prompt response always. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested to check them out!

Update 28/1/2025:Appointment was made and their service crew this time really spend time going through the setting and tutorial with me. They made quite some improvement compared to previous and even has setup quite a few YouTube video on how to change settings or set scene etc. this is super useful for us users as you will not remember how to do it after a while. This time round much easier to make appointment and they even changed out a old version of sensor which are forever intermittent to a new type. Finally seems everything I need to know was done but it’ll probably need to take some time and practice to learn and get used to the system.Very lousy service and I don’t think they know how to do big houses. Communication with them once you made the payment is very difficult and you always have to go through telegram automated text helpdesk even thou the setup have problems and not yet handover. Getting them to come and finish up the setup is so difficult as you have to pre book them many days ahead. Imagine you have switch not working or having problem and they tell you to wait for 1 week for their service man. I have already been staying in my new house for almost 1 year already and still not yet handover the system officially to me. Paid over 20k sgd for this system and this is the kind of service level I get. Not sure if this is a general problem with smart home but Whole experience is horrific and I would advise those who want to do this think again. Now I regretted and wish I had not opt for smart home from the start. And I really wonder how they can get such a high rating and if it’s real or paidFollow up on your reponse:1) I think you have to look into why your guys have to keep coming and still cannot fix all the issues. Every time your guys come it’s partial work done and bye. And pls take note your comment on change request which is not true. All the request is to fix the problems that we encounter and not die properly, not changes2) you commented on handover on 24rh April which is a total surprise to me. Maybe your official handover is your own thinking or what your serviceman told you but neither me or my wife has signed or acknowledge anything on this. Would be glad if you can show me any official handover of system acknowledgement3) my wife doesn’t understand this whole system and she also told your guy to wait for me to be home to teach me on the system as she won’t be able to understand what they tell her but unfortunately HomeAGenius have problem with appointment on weekend ( due to my hactic schedule) and needs weeks ahead appointment which I am not able to do so due to my work commitment. 2 tutorial sessions to my wife is not true as above. And Sorry for not able to accommodate to your requirement of weeks ahead appointment and only only weekdays. But this should be a warning sign for those who are in the same situation as me and unless you are very free and can be home anytime, be warned.4) I will definitely fix a appointment with you to give us the first tutorial on the system when I am back. But I have a feel that it’s going to be another weekday only and 1 to 2 weeks ahead appointment which I may not be able to do so. But let me try my luck again and see….

Great service from their team, from sales lady Wan Yee( who strived for excellent customer care even entertained my last minute requests or off hour queries, HAG boss should give her a raise) to the tech team upon installation and after sales team in telegram. Professional, attentive and efficient team to satisfy my smart home needs. Highly recommend! Now we do not need to walk ard the house to turn on lights, aircon, fans and blinds etc, Siri is just a “hey”away. The only down side is the price lah, but you pay for what you get right.

Great experience with them! Full guidance is provided pre installation, after sales support is good. Selected them after considering between their local server method Vs the other DIY cloud solutions. They may be pricier, but considering the full solution and support, it's worth it! (A full team of about 4-6 people work on the project)TK is able to explain the system workings in-depth and is willing to go the extra mile in helping us streamline our set up for cost savings and while also integrating the 3rd party appliances as much as possible.App is simple to use and setting scenes on your own is easy to learn. If you face any issues, it's easy to get advice via their customer service.

After doing a fair bit of research, I finally decided to engage Home-A-Genius for my smart home setup. Jerry has been help throughout the entire process being clear and helping to keep within my budget. No doubt you're paying a premium, what you can be sure off is quality work and security. The after sales from the team are good too be it response to any queries or any form of improvisation to the existing system. I believe they are still one of the only ones that does deep integration for Apple Home Kit so that's a plus. Jerry has been helpful since day 1, coordinatinh the works. The electrician that was recommended was very professional and meticulous on their electrical and plastering works. The programming team was everything friendly and patience with my queries. Pricing is bit competitive but post sales service is good with the team responding back very quickly. Home A Genius turned my house into a smart home, and it was a pretty smooth experience. TK, was knowledgeable and helpful, even getting me discounts. Their communication is excellent, with a WhatsApp group to keep everyone updated.Extra cost: The only downsides were paying in full upfront before installation, and having to pay extra when my desired switches were discontinued.Setup process was smooth with site visiting with our electrician and also ID. The tech team, will be down to teach you how to use the system with their 1hr onsite teaching session.Overall, I'm happy with my smart home and would recommend Home A Genius. Just be prepared for upfront costs and potential changes. If you know what you want, they'll advise and deliver.

We had a very pleasant experience working with the team at Home-A-Genius, namely Cheryl, Jerry, Malcolm. The team was very patient and meticulous in explaining to us the features and capabilities of the Home-A-Genius smart home system and even took the initiative to propose unique solutions to enable Neutral wiring in our home electrical systems without the necessity for a gutted overhaul of our electrical systems. The team diligently studied our electrical and floor plans to suggest solutions catered specifically to our lifestyles which simply made alot of sense. Overall the implementation/installation of their smart home systems a breeze.Moreover, the support staff have been very prompt and responsive via Whatsapp/Telegram which is a huge bonus as it really gives us a sense of support and assurance knowing that its not a "one and done" type of service. The coordination is good, Shirley was very helpful at every step. As a veteran of Smart Home devices, I’m impressed that HAG managed to integrate several platforms that otherwise were incompatible with each other or require multiple apps and bridges. Offline functionality also allows a much higher degree of reliability with minimal issues.It is really a whole new level of convenience and control with near unlimited possibilities should one wish to explore and capitalise on its capabilities. Engaged HAG a few months ago after having second thoughts on a competitor. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found Home-A-Genius Pte Ltd for my smart home revamp.
