At Taneo, our mission is to provide a comprehensive dance education that goes beyond technical training. We are committed to creating a positive learning environment where students not only acquire skills but also experience joy and fulfillment in their dance journey. Through our rigorous training programs, students will gain mastery in various dance genres, including ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and acrobatics. Developing Leaders in the Dance Industry
We recognize that dance education encompasses more than just technical proficiency. We are dedicated to developing our students' understanding of the intricacies of choreography. teaching abilities, and production management. We aim to nurture well-rounded dancers who can not only perform but also create, teach and lead within the dance community.
Customised Training for all Commitment Levels
We recognize that every student is different, what works for one student may not work for another. We believe in tailoring training and development approaches to each individual student, based on their unique strength and interests, fostering their growth and helping them reach their full potential.

ABOUT US
A Humble Beginning
Taneo Dance Academy was founded in 2011 by local actor Mr Neo Ren Jie and Mdm Terri Tan. It first started as a humble dance enrichment service provider at various country clubs and pre-schools. With limited resources, the founders, students overcame all odds with their hard work and determination, making their mark in various major dance competitions and festivals such as Chingay and NDP, evolving to one of the leading dance schools in Singapore today.
We believe that by providing affordable training fees, our students will be able to maximise their training. With our strategy, we have produced many winners over the years and also successfully helped many of our students in their Secondary School Direct School Admission (DSA) application. We have an outstanding success rate for DSA for our primary 6 students, with many of them receiving multiple offers from secondary schools such as Nanyang Girls', River Valley, Nan Hua, Anderson, Chung Cheng and SOTA.
