Deity is an all-inclusive, full-service Brooklyn Wedding and Event Venue. Affordable packages offer use of the Deity Venue and in-house services. Deity hosts unique Brooklyn Weddings and Receptions, Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs, Landmark Birthdays, Anniversaries, Holiday Parties and other Corporate Events.

Wedding Venue

Wedding Venue winners of the Knot “Best Of” Hall of Fame Since 2017, This Brooklyn Wedding Venue is a romantic, candle-lit space with exposed brick in an art deco, NYC landmarked building. Once a Synagogue now re-designed by local Brooklyn artists to this Unique Wedding Venue.

A cocktail Lounge with custom stained glass artwork under the branches of an indoor tree of life. Accessed by a speak-easy style hidden door, the Loft space offers an ethereal space for ceremonies and seated dinners. Followed by entry to a dramatic arched stairwell down to the Cellar with entertaining floor. A swanky, full sized Wedding Suite is available for use by the couple to get ready. And the crown of the building, a rooftop with sweeping city views and spa tub, perfect for photos.

Bar Mitzvahs

Brooklyn Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs at Deity Events in Brooklyn are unique and affordable. As a full service venue, we offer in-house catering and services tailored for a fun and easy Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah.

Event Venues three floors, housed in a former synagogue, will give the whole family a day to remember. With multiple levels there is a special place to celebrate every special part of the Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah. From ceremonies, to meals, to candle lighting, to photo montage, and of course dancing the Hora!

Deity provides a unique floor plan you won’t find anywhere else. The cellar allows kids to enjoy their favorite foods, music and entertainment in an independent and secure environment. The sophisticated lounge simultaneously allows space for adults and children to co-mingle. The loft and the lounge are both available for the whole group to be together for the special moments.

Deity’s in-house approach for weddings and events allows guests to celebrate a special event at an affordable price. Local owners ensure restaurant quality food, custom picked wines and cocktails, expert staff and a meticulously maintained venue for your event.

Deity catering gives the opportunity to choose what type of event you want for your guests. Have a more formal occasion with an hors d’oeuvres cocktail hour followed by a family-style seated dinner. To match a party atmosphere, choose a standing dinner cocktail reception. The 3 different rooms allow for a customizable, full service experience.

Deity is located in on an historic stretch of Atlantic Ave in Downtown Brooklyn, between Hoyt and Bond Streets. Close to all major subway lines. Street Parking is available out front. Walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge Park and Barclays Center.
