Our Approach

Offering you a highly personalised design service, our focus lies in creating bespoke, considered interiors that encapsulate our clients’ needs and dreams. Our head designer, Alicia, places particular importance on creating a livable luxury; on top of the practicality and comfort of the spaces we design, we ensure that we create beautiful, inviting living spaces for you. We believe that the success of our projects lies not only in the end result, but also the process of building. With that, we take great pride in the level of customer service we provide, taking on only a limited number of projects each year to ensure each and every client receives the time and attention they deserve.

Our i.Poise team of interior architects will guide you through not only the base planning of your space, but also bring you through the “design in a day” experience. We provide our clients with all-round experience, together with our team of designers and business owners to build your dream space. Our goal is to create a design that fulfils your needs, and ensures you and your space are tended to thoroughly. From laying the foundation of your design space, to decorating to best fit your purpose, we will be with you till completion.

Our interior architects take the designing of your space a step further than a regular interior designer would. On top of designing the homes, our team will ensure that the place and designs work together to elevate the cohesiveness of each element in the space. This includes the soft touches that come with our styling services, marrying the functional items such as cushions, sofas, dining tables and mirrors to the space; and ensuring that each component chosen creates an elegance of environment that goes beyond mere utility.

We offer you a choice of proposals, from the exact design you pictured in your head, to others with possibilities that you’ve never thought of. Our ultimate goal is not just an aesthetically pleasant design, but also a space of practicality and function.

Our team of talented interior designers create homes that are tailored to the specific requirements of each client, taking into account context, brief and personal tastes of the client. We are able to work on a multitude of different projects, from purely furnishing show homes to large scale residential projects requiring full interior design and renovation services. We have honed our processes and services over years of experience to ensure we provide efficient but in-depth design service that is split into the following stages.

Stage 1 – The Brief

Key to the success of any project is ensuring that the interiors are an authentic reflection of our client’s requirements and aspirations. During the brief stage, we take the time to learn about how the client wishes to use the property, their personal style, lifestyle and aspirations. We will build a picture of the project through a site visit or floor plans and photographs as well as ensure that we understand all factors such as time scale, budget, and any structural or administrative requirements. Following this thorough briefing stage, we will send a proposal to the client, outlining the brief as we understand it, with an estimated budget for our associated design and renovations fee.

Stage 2 – Concept

Interpreting the detailed brief, we will present the concept designs, consisting of floor plans illustrating the proposed furniture layouts and any structural changes that may be required, and mood board presentations containing samples of proposed finishes as well as imagery of suggested furniture and joinery concepts. This is a very collaborative stage and we invite our clients to give as much feedback as possible to ensure we are on the right page.

Stage 3 – Detail

Having approved all of the concept designs, we progress to the design development and detail design stage. All final bespoke furniture, joinery and interior design drawings will be presented, along with all final finishes and curated art accessories for clients to approve. At this stage we will also present a fully itemised breakdown of costs in line with the agreed budget.

Stage 4 – Realisation

The schedule of works will be outlined and agreed. With all onsite requirements met, works will commence and our project coordinators and designers will attend regular site meetings to ensure our designs are being carried out to their exact specifications and that the project is progressing as planned. We will keep the client updated throughout as well as oversee the snagging during the snagging period, allowing our clients to enjoy their property with peach of mind.

Stage 5 – Interior Styling Consulting

Above and beyond designing and renovating the homes of our clients, we provide an interior styling service where we add in the finishing touches to their homes. In this stage, our designers bring our clients all around Singapore and even online to source out furniture, cushions, unique handles and decorations that will suit their new homes. This adds greatly to the design of the home as it gives the welcoming atmosphere our clients love. This is a service that can be engaged without the first 4 stages, for clients who are either renting an apartment or have already renovated their homes previously but would require a remodeling and space management.
