OUR PHILOSOPHY
Ingenuity Dance was founded in 2018. It provides high-quality artistic dance education for students aged 2.5 and above with international standards instead of quantity.
Classes are created with a sense of love, passion, healthy progress and caring environment, and a family-oriented atmosphere. Dance educators use positive language and scientific and psychological teaching methods to strongly protect the physical and mentally health for dancers.
The opportunity here is to give children to build their social etiquette, confidence, brain and creative development through sensory and imaginative movements. Moreover, we give students invaluable dance performance and life experience through arts and love of dance. We want to offer a meaningful and wonderful opportunity to broaden their knowledge from inside and outside of school and enhance their strong creativity skills through dance education.
Our Philosophy is not just focusing on techniques. We also want to create a lot of beautiful memories and friendships with multinational cultural backgrounds in our dance classes and performances.
Other than discipline, students also develop social skills and mannerism from dance. We also open dance opportunities for special condition students like autism, down syndrome, visual processing delay etc, to improve brain development and body coordination through dance.
Our mission is to see our students able to instill their self independence and self whole-person development and learn eventually to enjoy and have fun from dancing.

About Candy Ng
Founder & Artistic Director
Ms. Candy was born and grew up in Malaysia.
She has taught in Hong Kong, Australia, and currently in Singapore for the past more than 18 years.
Dancing has been her passion since the age of 10. Ms. Candy was trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, and Modern Jazz at the Australian Dance Performance Institute in Brisbane, Australia, where she graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Arts (Dance Performance).
She is also a Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD, UK) and the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD, Australia), having completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies and the Teaching Diploma in Modern Jazz, respectively. Ms. Candy is also a qualified Pilates Instructor.
During 10 years in Hong Kong, Ms. Candy has worked at Vivian Kwok School of Ballet and DMR School of Ballet. Ms. Candy has been teaching RAD Ballet, CSTD Modern Jazz, and (Australian Teachers of Dance, Australia) ATOD Jazz Moves for students from 3 years old to Advanced levels and has choreographed for several dance productions and competitions in ballet and modern jazz.
Since 2013, Ms. Candy has successfully choreographed numerous full-length dance productions such as ‘Michael Jackson's Generation’ in 2013, ‘Hairspray Party' in 2015, and ‘Wizard of Oz’ in 2017.
Miss Candy always offers a lot of love and care for her students. She always loves to conduct positive dance classes for students to keep their interest in learning dance. She likes to employ some sense of humor to build good relationships with students and parents.
