Say Tian Hng Buddha Shop

Religious goods store

"Established in 1840, Say Tian Hng Buddha Shop is a 6th-generation heritage business that still crafts and restores statues of Taoist and Buddhist deities by hand, using techniques dating back to the early Qing Dynasty. Here, you will find wooden statues of fearsome warlords and fair maidens, drunken monks and steely-faced magistrates, rebellious serpents and filial parrots - all characters from ancient Chinese mythology - some as large as a chair, some as small as an iPhone. Behind each statue is an ancient story, and a life value that has endured through the centuries. We ship internationally."

Where gods are born

Say Tian Hng Buddha Shop is a 6th-generation family business in Singapore that has been crafting and restoring wooden statues of Daoist and Buddhist deities lovingly by hand since 1840.

Our customers cover a wide spectrum, comprising cultural-lovers, devotees and temples from Asia, Europe and North America who acquire our statues as religious objects of worship or non-religious works of art.
