SPACE SAVING FURNITURE- THE MURPHY BED
Murphy bed is a space saving furniture that optimises space in your room. It is also widely known as the wall bed or hidden wall bed which is built in a cabinet with a metal hardware frame and a pair of hydraulic pistons. This hydraulic lift mechanism is fixed to each side of the Murphy bed cabinet, to counter balance the weight of the bed. The bed cabinet is then installed on the wall, allowing you to pull down when you need to use the bed and fold up when it is not in use.
The benefit of keeping your bed in the wall cabinet is to free up space in your bedroom. Given the limited space now in our homes, the Murphy bed is a great space saving furniture that can transform your bedroom to a home office. The space saved in your bedroom can even be used for mat excercises or other activities, without needing to feel cluttered in your room.
Your customised Murphy bed can also be multifunctional with added cabinets and display shelving for storage. Reroom's Murphy bed itself is designed with internal shelving with LED lighting and a tall side cabinet for storage of pillows. There are also options for you to match the Murphy bed with a wardrobe and/or storage cabinets up to the ceiling. The Murphy bed comes in vertical and horizontal, in sizes of Single, Super Single and Queen.

Both my hubby and I are extremely satisfied with our perfect choice of engaging Reroom to install platform beds with huge amount of internal storage that are flushed to the window with no gaps, broad and wide study desks and display cabinets in our kids' bedrooms! The custom-made design, selection of materials and matching wall paints tailored to our choice with on site measurements, are simply perfect. Project Consultant Melisa, together with her carpenters, provided outstanding service, excellent and fine workmanship, recommending a tailored solution and giving us an idea to make more storage feasible in a small bedroom. Melisa's dedication went beyond expectations from answering to our request late at night, accommodating to our last minute request and making sure everything goes smoothly as planned. Melisa, together with her team of carpenters, ensured that the beds were designed, built, and installed nicely according to the given planned schedule. We liked how there are soft closing hinges for all cabinets and drawers. We like the rounded edges for our kids' study desks and the unique side flip table that gives more spaces to the study desk. We are amazed by the awesome design of the partition that has both plaster and fluted glass. They are all perfectly done. Well thought out designs for small space. Living in a small apartment, the Murphy bed has enabled my family to use the spare room as both a guest room AND a study room.
