What should I bring for my eye exam?
The most important thing to bring is yourself. However, it is helpful to bring your vision and medical insurance card, along with your current glasses or contact lenses. Please, don't forget to bring a mask since they are a local requirement and if you have any specific questions, feel free to bring them to your appointment or call our doctor to discuss.
Can I buy prescription glasses if I had my exam with another doctor or at another store?
All prescriptions are welcome in Target Optical, whether you received them from us or another doctor. If you have a valid prescription, we can get you started right away and if you don't have a copy of your current prescription, we can help you request this from your doctor.
What should I expect during my eye exam at Target Optical?
During our comprehensive eye exam, our Independent Doctor of Optometry will examine your overall eye health. In addition, our doctor may perform a few tests designed to help identify eye conditions and diseases, such as cataracts and glaucoma early. You will have plenty of time to discuss your prescription and ask any questions you may have about eye health and vision correction solutions. Book your next exam now!
What is a contact lens exam?
We are contact lens experts! During our contact lens exam, you are provided the same care as a regular eye exam but with added time to measure the curve and shape of your eye. This extra measurement will help your doctor identify the contact lens that will be most adapted to your needs. If this is your first time wearing contact lenses, we will also show you how to insert and remove your lenses safely, so you feel confident and happy with your new pair.

How do I know if you accept my vision insurance?
Good news! At Target Optical we accept most vision insurance plans. You can take a moment to check your insurance plan here or you can visit or call the store for more assistance. We also accept FSA/HSA plans online and in-store to help you pay for your new eyewear or contact lenses.
Do I need an eye exam even if I don’t currently wear eyeglasses or contact lenses?
Annual eye exams are recommended as a part of preventative health care. Even if you have a perfect vision, you may be unaware of underlying issues. As with most preventive care, detecting vision problems early can help maintain your overall vision and eye health. Book your next exam now!

We strive to be a convenient place for the entire family. We gladly welcome all children above 5 years old in our stores. I recently went for my routine eye exam, and I was absolutely blown away by the level of care and professionalism from the entire team. The doctor was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain everything; she was focused on a complete and accurate assessment of my eye health. I highly recommend Target Optical, well experienced staff, friendly, honest and knowledgeable with eye glasses. They have a wide selection of frames to choose from and good prices. The whole visit takes approximately 30 minutes and in just a few days your glass are ready. They offer pick-up at the store or they can be delivered to your home address. Thank you Marissa.

I had such a great experience at this Target Optical with Narda Sanchez! The doctor took the time to really understand my vision needs and helped me find the perfect contact lenses that fit my lifestyle and easy to wear all day. I truly appreciated how patient and knowledgeable she was throughout the process. The rest of the team was just as wonderful — everyone was friendly, helpful, and made me feel completely at ease. Griselda’s awesome! One of the arms to my RayBans fell off and the screw was missing. After the first optics shop I spoke with told me there would be a six week wait for such a simple fix - I was getting frustrated. Luckily came across this convenient optics shop inside Target- walked down there and had my RayBans fixed and cleaned in less than 10 mins - free of charge! Thanks Griselda!
