Most of our products are flat-packed and designed in such a way that they can easily fit in your car. However, if you prefer to have your purchase delivered, we have a range of delivery options for you to choose from when shopping at IKEA.my or shopping at your nearest IKEA store.
Delivery is also already possible from the day after you make your order online, subject to availability.

Parcel delivery
West Malaysia
0 - 3 kg: RM10 (exclude 6% SST)3 - 25 kg: RM25 (exclude 6% SST)
25 - 40 kg: RM49 (exclude 6% SST)
- Delivery to metropolitan areas will take place within 3 - 5 days; for non-metropolitan areas, delivery is within 6 working days.
- Order up to a weight of 40 kg, a volume of 84 litres and a maximum length per item of 1.8 meters.
East Malaysia
RM100 (exclude 6% SST)
- For East Malaysia, there is a lead time of approximately 3 to 4 weeks before the order is delivered.
- Order up to a weight of 24 kg, a volume of 84 litres, and a maximum length per item of 1.6 meters.

- For the first 400 items; the subsequent 400 items will be charged at double the rate

- Price including shipment, only available in Kuching, Miri, and Kota Kinabalu

- Delivery services availability:
We offer delivery services in West Malaysia, Penang, and the main island of Langkawi.
Please note that the smaller islands near Langkawi are not eligible for truck delivery. - Excluded locations:
We do not offer truck and parcel delivery to other islands or PO Box addresses. - Delivery fees:
a. The fee for truck delivery will be determined based on your postcode and our delivery zones. Find out more details here.
b. All prices shown are excluding 6% SST. - Truck delivery additional charges:
If your delivery address is in a building from the 3rd to the 5th floor and there's no lift access or items can't fit in the lift, there will be an additional flat rate of RM 98. Please pay this fee directly to the service provider. - Delivery to a single location:
a. Our delivery service is meant for a single location, whether it's a private residence or office. It covers one room or area.
b. Additional charges apply if you're delivering to a building with multiple rooms, even if it's one single address. - Holiday season processing time:
During major holiday seasons such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali, Christmas, etc., please allow an extra 1-3 business days for processing time on truck and parcel delivery orders due to a high volume of orders. - Extended delivery lead time for East Malaysia
Due to the current port congestion, there may be an additional delivery lead time of 1-2 weeks.

Shopping at your nearest IKEA store
When visiting our stores, you have different options to have your purchase delivered to your home. And, we don’t just stop at your front door, we deliver all the way to your room of choice. Speak with an IKEA co-worker at an information counter to book the service. Alternatively, you can also book for services at the delivery counter in the store.

We offer a combined in-store picking and delivery service if you would prefer to sit back, relax and let us do the heavy lifting for you. Simply place your order with one of our co-workers in-store.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Why are the charges for truck delivery different from online and store purchases?
The charges differ due to the picking service. For online orders, the picking service is included in the delivery fee, whereas for in-store purchases, customers may have the option to pick the items themselves and bring the paid items to our Home Delivery Counter to request delivery or assembly service.
What days do you deliver?
We offer delivery services seven (7) days a week, although availability may vary depending on your location, the time of your order, and the chosen delivery option. If you anticipate potential difficulties with access to your property on weekdays after certain hours or during weekends and public holidays, we recommend avoiding the mentioned time slots.
My delivery is late. Where is it?
We’re sorry that your delivery is running behind schedule. The first step you should take is to review the delivery notifications you received via SMS from one of our delivery partners. You can contact them to inquire about your estimated time of arrival (ETA).
Why can’t the driver wait?
Drivers can wait for up to 15-20 minutes. If this time is exceeded, the driver will fail the job and any attempt at re-delivery will be subject to a re-attendance fee.
What is the ETA for East Malaysia Parcel orders?
Within 3 – 4 weeks depending on the weather conditions.
Due to the current port congestion, there may be an additional delivery lead time of 1-2 weeks.
Why am I being charged for drilling service?
Drilling service is an additional service and is charged at RM4.70 per hole.
Why am I being charged an additional fee for no lift?
In the event there is unavailability of lift facilities or items can’t fit in the lift and delivery has to be done using the staircase for a delivery address located within a building from the 3rd storey, there will be an additional flat rate of RM98. This service is only applicable up to the 5th storey and the service fee shall be paid directly to our service provider.
How do I prevent my product from tipping over?
We all want our homes to be a safe place, especially for children. The best way to help prevent furniture tip-over accidents is to secure the furniture to the wall using wall fasteners or brackets.
