Why should I engage an agency to hire FDW?
We provide end to end service in hiring FDW, and provide counselling and other consulting during the contract tenure.
Going through an agency you ensure the right process and all conditions as stipulated by MOM is followed, in the event there is dispute, we provide counselling and you are covered as part of our replacement policy.
Can i employ FDW for any country?
No, you can only hire from source country approved by MOM, which includes Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand.
What is the minimum age requirement of FDW?
The age limit is 23 to 50 at the time of application, FDWs above 50 can renew their Work Permit until 60 years.
What is the processing time to hire FDW from Philippines?
Our processing time for hiring FDW from Philippines is 3 to 4 weeks.
What is a security bond?
A security bond is a binding pledge to pay the government (up to $5,000) if you break the law or the conditions governing the employment of a helper. You need a bond for every helper you employ, unless she is a Malaysian.
This is usually covered as part of insurance package you buy, please read the insurance policy for details.
Why should i procure medical insurance for FDW?
FDWs are not covered under WICA (Work Injury Compensation Act), it is mandatory to buy insurance that meets the minimum requirement as stipulated by MOM.
Is Employers' Orientation Program mandatory?
Yes, any individual hiring an FDW for the first time in Singapore, should complete orientation program.
What is the total cost in hiring an FDW?
