Chanced upon this unassuming Shao la stall in 3838 Coffee Shop just opposite Bugis+ and was surprised by the delicious quality of their roasts!
We ordered their 3 kinds for 2 pax and a small bowl of lotus root soup all for $18. The roasted pork slices were very fatty and I loved the crispy skin! The cha shao or marinated pork slices were tender and I loved the sweet and savoury marinade. Roast duck pieces were also tender and flavourful!
Definitely a decent shao la stall as one of your meal options here in Bugis!

New Rong Liang Ge Cantonese Roasted Duck Double Boiled Soup.
Located at 3838 Eating Place, 269B Queen Street #01-235, Singapore 182269. Superb roast meat in Bugis!! We love their roast char siew, roast pork belly and roast duck!! Juicy, tender and flavourful. Those roast pork belly were in total crispness that you could hear crackling crunch sound on each bite, and it’s not too fatty! Don’t judge that black sauce, it taste awesomely delicious and not too sweet!! Remember to pair it with their mouth-watering chilli sauce that goes so well with both the rice and meats. #hungryunicornsg #newrongliangge #roastpork #charsiew #roastduck

Eleven Finger Scissors Curry Rice.
Located at 3838 Eating Place, 269B Queen Street, #01-235, Singapore 182269. Another of our favourite Scissors curry rice that’s just a stone’s throw away from Bugis+. Remember to drop by early before 3plus before they are pretty much sold for the day! We ordered a plate of curry chicken wing, Braised Pork Belly and not forgetting their flavorful cabbage!! They are pretty generous in their curry sauce, a full pool of curry gravy covering the entire plate, looking so mouth-watering! Curry chicken wing is so well flavored and tender, the bones were so easily pulled apart, braised pork belly was well marinated and braised to perfection, cabbage is lightly flavored and very soft, which taste so decorous with those curry gravy over it! Located at 3838 Eating Place, 269B Queen Street, #01-235, Singapore 182269. One of our favourite roasted delicacy whenever we have craving for! This plate of Roasted Pork Belly and Char Siew surely warms our heart and belly! Roasted Meat’s skin is in ultimate crispy and crunchy, the meat is also tender, soft and flavorful.. Char Siew is a lil towards fatty, it’s well marinated and tasty! Black sweet gravy sauce that pours over the roasted meat and white rice is da bomb!! It adds so much flavours to it!
