On its 15th Anniversary in 2015, TAG International Tennis Academy reached a milestone in its history by opening Singapore’s first ever indoor tennis courts named Winchester Tennis Arena (WTA). Nestled in the tranquil surroundings on Alexandra Park at 12A Winchester Road Singapore 117786, Winchester Tennis Arena is the proud home of TAG International Tennis Academy with four beautiful fully sheltered indoor tennis courts. With a generous roof of 40ft and a 15ft baseline, it is suitable for high performance level tennis training, competitive tennis matches and formal tennis tournaments in Singapore.
Tennis lessons are conducted safely by our TAG International Tennis Academy’s certified coaches, without the inconvenience of inclement weather. These sheltered indoor tennis courts can be rented for your recreation and social games as well.

Extremely please! If you are looking for a coach that will bring out the best in you.? I highly recommend Coach Ray.! His focus is the progress of his player in every session. The way he give his instructions are very easy to understand. He even demonstrates all the proper forms and right position inside the court. Coach Ray is gifted at noticing the small thing that are holding back, and is able to explain simple and achievable corrections. His very professional in handling his clients, he even customizes the lessons depending on his clients level of game.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Arranging Tennis Lessons in Singapore
Firstly, you need to know your schedule or your kid’s timetable to arrange for tennis lessons. Provide us with some options on the day and timing of yours or your kid’s availability as well as preferred lesson location so that we can quickly assign a lesson for you. We offer tennis lessons in Singapore condominiums as well. If you are intending to have the tennis lesson at your condominium, please also check with your facilities management on the availability of the tennis court at your preferred date and time for the lessons.
TAG International Tennis Academy can conduct our tennis program all over Singapore and has a number of locations for you to choose from but we recommend Winchester Tennis Arena for your tennis lessons as it has 4 beautiful sheltered tennis courts where the lesson can continue without the inconvenience of inclement weather or at Novotel Singapore at Stevens for easy . If you are staying at a condominium, we can travel to your condo to conduct the lesson.
We will suggest booking your coaches early if you have a specific day and time that you want your tennis lessons to be on to avoid disappointment. You can arrange for a fixed day and time every week with your coach so that he/she can give you priority for your preferred slot.
The commitment depends on what your goals are. Some just wanted to have a hit about once a week after a stressful and hectic work in the office for a good work-life balance. Others who are looking to improve their tennis game to a higher level, especially juniors can train up to 2-3 days a week.
Usually around age 3 is a good time to start_._ Our Pee Wee tennis program is available to children from 3 years old. The program involves eye-hand coordination games, moving and running games which aimed at fast-tracking their motor skill development. Most of all, they will have fun!
In the rare event that it is pouring during your tennis lesson, the remainder of the lesson will be held in a shelter space near the court. TAG’s coaches are experienced at conducting professional and productive indoor structured classes to improve your footwork drills, stroke correction, static strength training and many others. But if your lessons are conducted at Winchester Tennis Arena, lessons will still continue as usual as the courts are all sheltered.
Please give us as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your lesson. The court fees may still be payable by the student depending on the cancellation policy of the training venue. If 24 hours notice of cancellation is not received, the full lesson fee will be charged.
If you must miss a class once the group class has been scheduled, it will be counted as you are absent and there will be no make up class for you. The class will have to carry on.
Private lessons are certainly recommended for juniors aspiring to play competitive games. However, to provide junior with the recommended amount of training per week (the rule of thumb, the number of hours of quality training should be equivalent to their age in years up to 18 years of age), it can be very costly to have solely private lessons. As such, there are group tennis lessons in Singapore by some of the tennis academies in Singapore, such as TAG Tennis Academy. Our junior tennis lessons are held at weekly at Winchester Tennis Arena, Chinese Swimming Club and SAFRA Clubs which can be a supplement to junior’s training program.
The need to understand junior’s personality is important when choosing the right tennis coach. A coach who can get along with your child on a personal level can also be a mentor that will help shape your child’s attitude towards the sport and setting the correct groundwork. It is difficult for a tennis coach to teach something he/she cannot already do him/herself. Therefore, it is important to look for a coach who is still playing competitive tennis so that the juniors can have an overview of all the things they need to do to prepare for competitions. All our coaches in TAG Tennis Academy have played or are still playing in competitive tournaments today.
