Finding a preschool that develops your child's intellectual, emotional, social, and creative needs is an exciting experience.
Founded in 1988, Appleland Playhouse boasts more than three decades of educational experience. Our preschool provides Infant Care services for children aged 2 to 18 months and offers preschool education for young ones aged 18 months to 6 years. Through our diverse curriculum and engaging activities, we aim to instill a passion for learning in your child.

JUNE OUTINGS 2025 - Kok Fah Farm

🌱 Kok Fah Farm Tour with the Children 🌱 The children had a fun and enriching day out at Kok Fah Farm! They got hands-on experiences in: ✨ Planting their own microgreens ✨ Learning about the benefits of aloe vera in a short interactive talk ✨ Exploring the different parts of a plant and what plants need to grow ✨ Trying out hydroponic planting first-hand It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to connect with nature, understand how food grows, and develop a love for plants through play and discovery. 🌿 💚 Watch their learning journey and farm adventures in this video! KINDERGARTEN 2: PRIMAVERA PASTA (Cooking activity) - March 2024

Throwback to our Kindergarten 2 cooking activity, where they made their own delicious Primavera Pasta for lunch! 🍝✨ This yummy North American dish is made with pasta, a creamy sauce, and lots of colourful veggies— light, healthy, and so easy to make at home! 🥦🍅 Want to try it with your little ones? 💦 Splish, splash, and sunshine fun! ☀️ Our little explorers had a blast at the Children's Garden @ Gardens by the Bay! From playful water jets to giggles all around, it was a refreshing day of joy and laughter.

Our little learners had an exciting visit to Alexandra Fire Station on Firefighter Day! 👩‍🚒 They met real firefighters, saw fire engines up close, and learned how our brave heroes keep us safe! 🚒❤️

JUNE OUTING 2023 - Kin Yan Farm

Our first outing in June is to Kim Yan AgroTech Farm! We toured around the farm where they grow wheatgrass, pea sprouts, cactus, aloe vera, pandan, mushrooms and many more! After the tour, we touched and feel the aloe vera and wheatgrass, tasted 5 different kinds of mushrooms cooked by the farmers and grew pea sprouts.

SEA AQUARIUM OUTING (N1) - May 2023

Our Nursery 1 children went to SEA Aquarium for their end-of-term 2 outing trip to explore the different types of fishes and look at their habitats. They got to touch sea stars and spot familiar fishes that they have learned in class!

MOTHER'S DAY TEA TIME 2023 - May

Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷🩷 This year we held our very first Mother’s Day Tea Time for mummies to spend some special time with their children in school, sipping and munching on delicious treats prepared by the teachers! They were also presented with performances and Mother’s Day cards by their children, and carnation flowers as a gift! Thank you mummies for taking time out to join us last Friday! We hope you had a memorable time 🥰

PICNIC @ MARINA BARRAGE (K1 & K2) - March 2023

Our Kindergarten 1 and 2 children enjoyed their picnic with a scenic view and and had fun playing games with their friends and teachers at Marina Barrage!

WORLD WATER DAY 2023 - March

It’s World Water Day and we are dressed in blue to show our love and support for water! 💙 Our students were taught why water is important, and how we can conserve and protect our water resources. Following the sharing session and storytelling, the children had fun with hands-on activities such as sensory art, sing and dance, quiz, water rationing and water pollution clean up activities! Let’s continue the good habit of conserving water with our children and make #EveryDropCount. 💧 #WorldWaterDay2023

TOTAL DEFENCE DAY 2023 - February

Total Defence Day falls on the 15 February every year and commemorates the day colonial Singapore surrendered to Japan in 1942 during World War II. [Food Activity] Ep 5: My Healthy Plate (Kindergarten 2)

Our Kindergarten 2 teachers and children prepared their own lunch based on the Healthy Plate guidelines: ¼ plate of brown rice/ wholemeal bread, ¼ plate of meat & others, and ½ plate of fruit & vegetables. [Food Activity] Ep 2: Gimbap (Nursery 2)

Our Nursery 2 teachers and children made Gimbap, a Korean dish, in this month's Health Curriculum theme: Nutrition. The gimbap was made with cooked rice and ingredients such as tuna, egg omelette, cucumber, spinach and more, wrapped in dried seaweed. ____ Music: Owies Ukulele by Michael Ramir C
