Can your products heal eczema?
As much as we wish to say yes, there is currently no known cure for eczema. However, our baby eczema organic skincare products are specially formulated to help repair and restore skin barrier function.
As eczema can be triggered by many factors, including use of unsuitable products, diet, environment, our products are limited as long the trigger is still present. Read our CASE STUDY here to understand more.
However, almost 3 in 5 baby eczema cases are due to use of unsuitable products, what is known as contact dermatitis, and in these cases, our products will be of great help. Read our reviews!
Why should I use your products?
While we cannot guarantee healing of eczema, we can guarantee our baby eczema organic skincare products are safe and gentle, made with skin-soothing and healing ingredients, be assured there are no chemicals and additives that can irritate and weaken skin barrier.
Our products are paediatrician-recommended in Singapore, and is available at Singapore’s largest maternity hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, as well as retail pharmacies in various government polyclinics, like Punggol Polyclinic, Bedok Polyclinic and Tampines Polyclinic.
We don’t like to talk about what’s NOT in our products. The proof is in the pudding, check out our ingredients; you don’t need to be a scientist to understand what’s inside!

Why Jo Lauren and not others?
There are many other balms and salves out there that claim to do what the Miracle Balm does, but many have no prior experience in the skincare industry, and are selling products that contain questionable ingredients without conforming to Good Manufacturing Practice. This is sad and frightening at the same time.
Some do not even disclose what ingredients they are using. Would you trust a product like that and use it on your baby?
It is simple to create a balm or salve; to formulate one that truly helps baby eczema and is effective, delivering consistent results year after year, is not easy.
I spent years in the skincare formulation industry, studying hundreds of ingredients before attempting to formulate one, out of a genuine need to cure my firstborn’s eczema. And only by the grace of God, I managed to, and I’m grateful to have this platform to help so many more babies and toddlers recover from baby eczema.
Jo Lauren was founded in 2013 and we’ve served thousands of babies. We are not big on marketing or social media but we’ve grown organically through these years mainly via word-of-mouth.

Are your products laboratory-tested?
Yes, of course. On top of in-house testing, our products are independent laboratory-tested to ensure quality and safety. We conduct microbiological enumeration testing on ALL our products with TUV SUD, according to the United States Pharmacopeia 61 & 62, to certify our products are indeed manufactured safe and microbial-free.
Many products claim to be preservative-free, however, a poorly-made product is a hotbed for nasty bacteria growth! Yikes! That is much worse than using a product with a proper preservation system.
On top of that, we also test for heavy metals with ALS Tehnichem to ensure our products are free from illegal substances or contamination, and absolutely safe for your babies! You don’t want to be applying questionable ingredients on your baby, would you?
And in case you don’t already know, independent laboratory testing is not mandatory in Singapore. But at Jo Lauren Organics, we choose to invest in your safety and a peace of mind. In case you missed it, we take product safety VERY seriously.
Any nasties in your products?
Absolutely no preservatives, chemicals, additives, toxins, surfectants, allergens, GMO, glycols, sulphates, PEGs, SLS, lanolin, parabens, no nasties at all.
Go ahead and read our ingredients. The Miracle Balm, for example, only has 6 simple ingredients. Our Colloidal Oatmeal Bath Bags Original has only 1 ingredient, yes, it’s just 100% USDA Certified Oat.

How to store your products?
Our products do not contain preservatives so the shelf-life is much shorter than most other products in the market. Kindly store the Miracle Balm in the refrigerator if you’re not going to be using it within 3 months. For all other products, please store them in a cool, dark and dry place. Please reseal the Colloidal Oatmeal Bath Bags pouches securely after use.
