Chris Mullins, founder of MBP Sports, has been coaching tennis and racquet sports in Singapore since 2002. With over 40 years of experience, he’s known for his expert instruction and commitment to helping players of all levels grow and improve. His deep knowledge and passion for the game have earned him a strong reputation in the Singapore racquet sports community.
Our Team
Nick Hnaung
Nick has been the resident Tennis Coach at MBP Sports for over eight years. A former Myanmar #1 and Davis Cup national player, his depth of knowledge in tennis and racquet sports is exceptional. Nick’s journey from elite player to coach has evolved beyond tennis—he’s completed formal training and logged hundreds of hours both playing and coaching Padel and Pickleball. Today, he plays a key role in introducing these fast-growing sports to Singapore through our CBD venues. His leadership as a “Teacher Coach,” combined with his friendly nature, deep expertise, and passion for coaching, is truly valued.
GS Wee
GS Wee has turned his passion for racket sports into a meaningful role at MBP Sports, where he has been part of the team for over 3.5 years. As a regular player and active learner, he has gained valuable experience through our patent-pending KFTE coach training. He now supports our club’s introductory pickleball and padel classes, helping new players get started with confidence and enthusiasm.
Alan Brown
Alan is an education consultant focused on evolving the tennis education landscape in Singapore. With a strong background in both education and sports, he designs innovative strategies to strengthen tennis development and broaden access to the game. At MBP Sports, Alan plays a key role in enhancing our KFTE coach training, and in connecting schools, nearby hotels, and corporates—helping to grow and align our vision of building a dynamic sports-business platform.
Damien Lacombe
Damien, originally from France, is an experienced coach in both padel and tennis. A former top 500 player in the French Padel Circuit, he brings years of high-level playing and coaching experience to MBP Sports. Based at our Marina site for over two years, Damien is known for helping intermediate to advanced players sharpen their game. With padel booming in Singapore, Damien’s expertise makes him a sought-after coach for both individual and group sessions.
Les Crawford
Les Crawford, a lifelong friend of our founder, brings decades of elite sports and fitness experience to MBP Sports. A former RAAF senior fitness manager and multi-sport athlete, Les has trained world champions and led high-performance programs. His expertise in practical sports science strengthens our KFTE coach methodology and supports our mission to raise the standard of sports education from grassroots to elite levels.
