About Us

Our mission at Empire State Driving School is providing new drivers with the tools needed to understand all rules and regulations on the road.

With over 30 years of combined driving experience, our highly trained, competent, driving instructors will ease any driving fears and guide our students in the way of the road.

Our main goal is to have you ready to pass your road test and make you a confident, safe and defensive driver behind the wheel. You will learn the skills and practices as our instructors demonstrate the proper behavior when navigating through traffic and various road conditions.

This is a fantastic driving schools that has the most incredible instructors! I was fortunate to work with Lyndberg who was very patient, attentive and kind (he also has the best playlist!). I had no prior driving experience, but he was so supportive instilling me with confidence and helpful driving tips. Each lesson I felt like I learned a ton. I went from dreading getting behind the wheel to actually feeling excited about it. Thank you, Lyndberg! And thanks to Alma and Andrea, the wonderful admin staff of the school who always kept me informed and coordinated everything.

I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Ralph. He was incredibly patient, calm, and clear in his instructions, which made me feel confident and safe behind the wheel. Ralph created a relaxed environment, and he always took the time to explain things thoroughly, even when I made mistakes. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my driving test and feel well-prepared to drive on my own. I’d highly recommend Ralph to anyone looking for a supportive and skilled instructor!

Everlina was so lovely! Towards the end of our lessons, I still wasn’t very confident in my driving skills, but she encouraged me to go through with my road test. I passed with a nearly perfect score! I really couldn’t have done it without her guidance.

Everlina is AMAZING!! She is a great instructor and makes sure her students know exactly what they need to do not only to pass their tests, but to be safe drivers. I was often very nervous when driving, but Everlina did a great job at helping me work through it and keeping the vibes positive, fun, and judgement free. She has helped me and all of my friends pass our drivers tests on the first try. Everlina is very energetic and kind, but also is serious about being safe and is honest about areas for improvement which I really appreciated.

I had Rafael as my driving instructor and he was fantastic. He gave me helpful and effective advice for the exam, and was overall very pleasing to have lessons with. I would highly recommend taking lessons with him!
