Little HaNoi Egg Coffee started with tea and egg coffee, a traditional Hanoi drink. Many people in Hanoi once could not afford condensed milk and put yolk and sugar in their coffee instead, creating a beverage now emblematic of Vietnamese coffee culture.

History of Egg Coffee
EGG coffee is a traditional drink in Ha Noi, a capital of Viet Nam. It was created in 1946 by a Vietnamese who worked for the French Restaurant as a barista. Especially before 1975, Vietnam was separated into 2 countries, namely North and South of Vietnam what was heart breaking Vietnamese nation.

Morning well spent at a charming cafe
Very fun experience to try a traditional Vietnamese coffee. Yes, it’s a bit different, but we both enjoyed it! The place has charm and lots of breakfast options (mostly western dishes, but we did have one excellent Vietnamese noodle dish). We had a great time here!

A cute hidden cafe
This cafe is like your typical hole-in-the-wall cafe in HCM, but with a speciality for Egg Coffee. I believe it’s one of the best places to try Egg Coffee, especially if you’re a first timer like me. Also, the decor and ambiance sets the perfect mood for “chillaxing” after a busy day.
P.S. Make sure to pair off that sweet egg coffee with any one of their hearty toasts; I suggest the egg and avocado toast!

Best egg coffee
Came here twice on our stay in Ho chi Minh city, the egg coffee is priced very good only 30k if you buy in a combo and it’s so delicious the best I had in the city. Very friendly staff free wifi, free cold tea.
If you are very hungry I would order two things of toast (banana and the pork is my recommendation)
