The best tutors are those who love learning and are enthusiastic, engaging people. We can all remember those teachers who inspired us at school, and, for me, the best teachers are those who genuinely loved their subject.
It’s infectious when someone speaks passionately about a subject and that’s what parents look for in their children’s tutors: someone who cancommunicate a deep-rooted personal interest and, of course, has theknowledge base to go alongside it.
Dr Elmi charges $60 per hour for Upper Primary (P5, P6 – PSLE), $70 per hour for Lower Secondary(S1 & S2) and $80 per hour for Upper Secondary (S3, S4, S5 – N Level | O Level). Please take note that additional transport charges may apply to certain locations for Face-to-Face tuition | in-person instruction (in compliance with the Safe Management Measures set by COVID-19 Multi-Ministry Task Force).
Dr Elmi’s Malay tuition rate isn’t the cheapest one around. However, compared to similar Malay tuition programmes out there, it’s the highest quality and most customised one in Singapore. That’s a bold claim, he knows. But given the number of students he has helped successfully, that’s a claim that he makes with confidence. And considering the value that you’re getting, it’s also a great price and value for your money.
Pay-As-You-Learn Model: Pay for every session at the end of each session (via Cash, Pay Lah or Pay Now).No hidden fees, all-inclusive fee including tuition & learning materials.

Commonly Asked Question 1: Should my child opt for Higher Malay (PSLE)?
Answer: Higher Mother Tongue (HMT) bonus points are only useful if your child opt for Special Assistance Plan (SAP) schools. The bonus points gained from HMT (Distinction – 3 bonus points, Merit – 2 bonus points & Pass – 1 bonus point) do not give him better score for PSLE. These points can only be used when he or she is applying for SAP school. Furthermore, only the students who are in the Top 30% of the PSLE cohort will be given these points.
Commonly Asked Question 2: Is it true that Dr Elmi also offer English language tuition?
Answer: Yes, it true. Dr Elmi Zulkarnain has been providing high quality, extremely flexible and fully customised English language tuition lessons on one-to-oneorprivate groupbasis for learners ranging fromprimary(PSLE English Tuition)andsecondarystudents (O Level English Tuition) in local schools tointernational students, andadult learners(i.e. Basic Conversational English for Indonesian Foreign Domestic Workers in Singapore) since 2004.
