The Singapore Taekwon-do Academy is the largest and oldest Traditional Taekwon-do governing organisation in Singapore, founded in 1971 by Singapore's foremost Taekwon-do pioneer Grandmaster BS Huan.
Traditional Taekwon-do is the original Taekwon-do martial art that was taught since 1965 by Grandmaster BS Huan, Singapore's First Singaporean Taekwon-do Black Belt and Pioneer Master Instructor.
The Singapore Taekwon-do Academy is an established Taekwon-do organisation recognised in Singapore and around the World.
Managed by a professional team of dedicated Masters, Examiners, Instructors, Tournament Referees, School Coaches, Sports Trainers and Administrators.

The Focus in Singapore
In Singapore, the focus of Traditional Taekwon-do has been the Singapore Taekwon-do Academy.
The Singapore Taekwon-do Academy establishes Standard Training Syllabus that is Systematic and with Safety as First priority. This Training Syllabus is taught throughout our branches and centres.
The Standards set by the STA Taekwon-do Masters, ensures excellence in Coaching and Learning, and to provide every student and black belt an opportunity to achieve their very best.
Our STA Instructors are personally trained by Senior Masters and only the best and qualified Senior Black Belts are selected to conduct classes.
All Grading and Certification are conducted by Senior Examiners and Masters from the Singapore Taekwon-do Academy.
STA Centralised Gradings are held every calendar quarter.
STA classes are nationwide, outdoors at neighbourhood RC & Community Centres, and indoors at Private Training Studios, Fitness Gyms & Condo Clubhouses.
