Diastasis Recti --------------- Diastasis Recti Abdominis (DRA) a common condition in pregnant and postpartum women, where there is partial or complete separation of the abdominal muscles. 80% of women develop DRA in the third trimester of pregnancy and 50% of mothers continue to suffer from this condition after childbirth.
Urinary Incontinence -------------------- Urinary Incontinence, the loss of bladder control, causes involuntary urine leakage during coughing, sneezing, or sudden urges. Women are twice as likely to suffer from this condition due to pregnancy, childbirth, and hormonal changes with age.
Vaginal Laxity -------------- Vulva & Vaginal Laxity is the loss of natural tightness and elasticity of the vaginal muscles, commonly aggravated by childbirth and hormonal changes with pregnancy and menopause, that leads to vaginal atrophy —dryness and thinning of vaginal walls.

I was skeptical initially that after 9months postpartum I will be able to recover from a 4.4cm DR gap. 2 months into the treatment my latest reading brings tremendous joy (2.5cm)! Stretch marks have also lightened, and skin has tightened around the tummy.

This year I made a promise to myself that once my son starts pre school, I will start to work on my own well-being. I have placed my child and my family before me all these years. Finally I got to start doing something to give my postpartum body an opportunity to recover.

After 3.5 years gave birth my 3.6kg baby boy, I came to Orchard Clinic with backpain problem, 4 cm Diastastic Recti (DR) , leaking pee sometimes when I sneezing , and bulky n saggy tummy skin. Filzah recommended me to take 60 sessions for Combination of 4 treatments (Embody, Emsella, Exilis and shockwave).
I’m enjoying every sessions with Filzah and Gervian who always support, take care of me, cheer me up and keep updated me about my progession.
In the end of my sessions, I have no more leaking and bulky mummy tummy, my 4cm DR fixed become 1.3 Cm, my skin got much better and plus lose 1.5kg! I’ve got my tummy back and it’s wonderful!

After having first kid even after months post partum, i do have afew colleagues asking if I was pregnant again and was even offered seats on the train by commuters a number of times. Its super depressing sia. Four years after, I had a second kid, my stomach bulge got worse and decided to do something about it which on hindsight I should have done something even before a second kid.
I googled and realised this bulge is called diastasis recti (DR) and some clinics can help. I did some research online and many people recommended Orchard Clinic. Thus, I made an appointment with them 2mths pp and my consultant is Yvonne.
Yvonne was very patient and explained the various issues women may face post partum and also checked my DR which was 8cm!The first consultation was very pleasant and not rushed. Most importantly she was not pushy and let me consider the proposed treatment plans. I did sign up for treatment eventually as I was very comfortable with the environment.
Am now 5mths pp and after having undergone 3 mths of treatment, I am very happy to share that my DR is now at 4.2cm. Even though its still wider than many ladies, its a huge improvement for me. I no longer have backache when I carry my son (which is very often as he is pretty needy haha).
All the consultants at the clinic are very friendly and also very patient when I have any adhoc questions. I always look forward to the sessions and hope my DR can close more!

My experience at Orchard Clinic has been amazing. I am always greeted with smiles from Janna and her team at Parkway Branch. The services has been impeccable and I enjoyed my time spent with the team especially with my consultant Janna. Janna has been very patient and offered great advice from the initial assessment and to every sessions that I had with her.At the initial assessment I was shared that I had severe DR. Janna has been very encouraging with her advice and customised a treatment course for me. I felt very comfortable during my consultation with her and decided to give it a try. And indeed my DR gap has narrowed after a few treatments and I have significantly felt that my core muscles are stronger. The shockwave treatment had also helped with my bloatedness and reduced my persistent mummy bulge.Thank you very much Janna and her team. I decided to visit Orchard Clinic to resolve my postpartum urinary incontinence and DR issues two months ago. After a few sessions of Embody and Emsella therapies, I am glad to observe significant improvement in my urinary incontinence issue (especially during workouts) and my core strength. I feel very comfortable with my therapist, Laura, who has been very patient in explaining and helping me with the therapies that cater to my needs. Would definitely recommend their therapies to mummies who need help in urinary incontinence, which can be frustrating at times.
