The French Council of Singapore is a well-established organisation by the French community in Singapore who shares the passion of the French language and culture.
Our team of French Native teachers is eager to teach you French as we call it “Learn and Enjoy”.

FRANCE AND SINGAPORE
France is one of the first thirteen countries that acknowledged Singapore as independent in 1965. The French embassy has been present in Singapore since then.
Relations between the two countries have always been very productive. In Singapore, the country lists more than 10,000 people who learn French. Today, it is the first foreign language studied in the City-State outside the four official languages.
Also, one of the main points to highlight is that Singapore’s french-speaking expatriate population is estimated at 30,000 people.
Singapore even has its own “Little France” neighborhood at the heart of Serangoon Garden district.
When it comes to expatriate Singaporeans abroad, France holds the third place of Singaporean expatriates in Europe, right after the UK and Germany.
