Jete+
The Jeté+ Dance Curriculum is a unique and well-researched dance pedagogy based on Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Classical Ballet syllabus, developed by Ms Pang Ling, who has more than 20 years of teaching experience under her belt.
It focuses on developing a strong Classical Ballet foundation, while progressively exposing the child to complementary dance genres that develop them as well-rounded dancers.
We believe that Classical Ballet is a springboard to the wider world of dance, where opportunities and potential for growth are limitless.
MEET OUR TRAINERS
Ms Pang LingCo-Founder & Senior Dance Teacher
With over two decades of dancing and teaching experience, Ms Pang Ling is no stranger to the dance scene. She played a leading role in Tru’Dance and continues to watch her students grow into full-fledged certified dancers. Training, guiding and inspiring her ballet students to become the next generation of professional dancers has always been her passion and focus.
Ms Tan Xue YingCo-Founder & Senior Dance Teacher
Xue Ying picked up ballet at the tender age of five, under the wing of Ms Pang Ling. As a highly qualified RAD-registered teacher, she has over 10 years of teaching experience under her belt, and has led numerous students through their ballet journey. She has been a personable mentor to students participating in dance competitions, offering guidance through technically-challenging choreographies and also, encouragement during tough times. Xue Ying continues to find immense joy and satisfaction in teaching Classical Ballet to young children in the community.
Ms Cheryl TanSenior Dance Teacher
Cheryl started dancing at 6 years old, attaining distinctions for all her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations and Honours Plus in her Modern Jazz examinations under Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD). Cheryl is certified with RAD as a registered teacher, and has been actively choregraphing for the past 10 years for numerous community events, school concerts and major dance competitions. She hopes to inspire and build up every dancer’s passion for dance through her teaching, by imparting her knowledge and experience to the next generation of dancers.
Ms Edna KhorSenior Dance Teacher
Edna began dancing at the aged of 5, under the guidance of Ms Pang Ling. She is a RAD registered teacher and also an official Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD).
Edna strongly feels that teaching Ballet is more than just imparting technique and musical counts – it is also about moulding the next generation, teaching them what it means to be disciplined and resilient whilst having pockets of fun.
Ms Kimberly LongDance Teacher
Kimberly achieved straight Distinctions for her RAD Graded and Vocational Examinations, under the tutelage of Ms Pang Ling. She then graduated from Singapore School of The Arts and was awarded the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. She has performed with renowned choreographers such as Theo Clinkard (UK), Martin Schick (Switzerland), Annie Vigier & Franck Apertet (France), Jacky Yu (Hong Kong), Susan Yeung (Singapore), Kuik Swee Boon (Singapore).
Ms Steph LeeDance Teacher
Steph is a trained dancer of 22 years, attaining high distinctions in all her formal ballet, jazz and tap examinations. Steph is both certified with RAD and CSTD as a registered teacher and has been actively choreographing for the past 6 years. Above and beyond her desire to provide a holistic dance education for the students, her deepest joy is seeing her students develop as people who live for the greater good of society as well.
Ms Shannon ChooDance Teacher
Shannon began her RAD ballet training at the age of three under the tutelage of Ms. Pang Ling. At 18, she showcased her choreographic work at prestigious events, including the RAD Dance Challenge 2017 and the Singapore Ballet Theatre’s Celebration in Dance 2018, among others. She is now a registered RAD teacher and a resident instructor for NTU’s club, Contempminated.
While dedicated to fostering a holistic dance education, Shannon finds her deepest fulfillment in witnessing her students ignite their love for dance and express themselves through their artistry.
Ms Nicole YeoDance Teacher
Nicole trained in London at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), where she achieved a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education and Registered Teacher Status. She has taught in Singapore, London, and Germany, and is now excited to be back home to share her passion for ballet.
Nicole is a passionate ballet teacher dedicated to making dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone. With a background in classical ballet and years of teaching experience, Nicole believes that ballet is for all ages, genders, and abilities — whether you’re taking your first steps in the studio or rediscovering your love for dance.
Ms Jonell TanDance Teacher
At the age of 13, Jonell began with classical ballet and later expanded to lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and waacking. She has completed RAD Ballet Grade 8 and Advanced 2.
Jonell was the Dance Captain for NTU Contempminated during the 2022-2023 year and has choreographed for various school performances and concerts. They have also competed in numerous competitions, winning Gold for Classical and Contemporary as well as Best Performer at the Singapore Challenge Cup 2023.
As a dance teacher, Jonell is committed to inspiring the next generation of dancers, helping them not only achieve their artistic goals but also develop life skills such as discipline, resilience, and creativity through dance.
Ms Jocelyn TayDance Teacher
Jocelyn began her dance journey at the age of four and has never looked back. She has completed all RAD graded ballet examinations up to Advanced Foundation and later expanded her training at Lasalle College of the Arts, earning a Diploma in Dance. There, she explored Contemporary, Classical Chinese Dance, Jazz, Malay Dance Fusion Contemporary, and Street Dance.
Jocelyn strongly believes that dance is for everyone, embracing the inclusivity of the community regardless of age or background. As a dance teacher, she is passionate about instilling self-confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for dance education, striving to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers.
Our Dance Studios
Lovingly designed by our dance teachers, our spacious 1200 sqft studio was built with safety and mastery in mind. It is fully mirrored and equipped with a powerful Sonos sound system to facilitate effective learning. The floor space is entirely sprung floors underneath premium Harlequin dance mats to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our dancers.
