Portion are huge and great tasting. Service is hit and miss but most of the times are good. Queue can be long depending time of the day. Price are also reasonable. Can’t help to keep coming back every once in a while.

Haven’t had Indonesian food for a while and we are not disappointed. All items (beef rendang, chicken satay and tahu telor ) are fantastic and authentic. Reminds me of the food I had in Jakarta. Especially the satay gravy which is thicker and slightly sweeter than our Singapore version. The service is good too! This restaurant was very crowded when we arrived unlike the other restaurants which are rather quiet. I believe it’s due to the high number of Indonesians visiting Paragon.

Now I understand why this restaurant has been included in the Michelin guide. It should be awarded a Michelin star as the food is out of this world . Every dish is Heavenly, fresh and oh so tasty. This rest has been here if I'm not mistaken since the 80s and still surviving so well. There is so much take out seeing it myself during our lunch today. I would definitely return for sure. For those who love Indonesian Padang this is THE place to come to. Service is friendly, good and fast. Prices are reasonable and worth it. You gotta try it... Great

Great service and food at this original main branch in Tanglin Shopping Centre. Special freshly fried curry-puffs is a must eat treat here. Assam fish extra pekat ( thick) and fish was fresh. Rendang shiok too.

One of the best Indonesian food you can find in Singapore. If you are craving for Nasi Padang, just come here. Rendang was good, tahu telor (fried bean curd & eggs) were fluffy and the Prawn with Petai was my favorite dish of the meals. Make sure you pack a curry puff to go. It’s amazing! You taste a great balance of rempah & ingredients.
