Our online ticketing and Friends of the Gardens membership sign-up portal will undergo maintenance on 8 Apr 2025 from 12.00am to 1.00am. Online ticket purchase, membership sign-up and renewal services will not be available during this period. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Have your head in the clouds
Home to one of the world’s tallest indoor waterfalls and a lush mountain clad with plants from around the world, Cloud Forest rewards the curious and adventurous. Go on a fascinating journey of discovery and get up close with some of the world’s most exotic plant species as you stroll along its unique aerial walkways.
Important Notice
- Cloud Forest will be closed on maintenance days. The next closure will be on 26 May 2025.
- Sections of Cloud Forest will be closed in preparation for a new exhibition:
- 10 Apr - 28 May 2025: Cloud Forest Gallery
- 2 May - 28 May 2025: Orchid Haven
- 5 May - 28 May 2025: Cloud Forest Theatre
- Cloud Forest will be closed at 8.00pm on 27 May and 28 May 2025 for private events. Last admission on both days will be at 7.00pm.
- On 29 May 2025, Cloud Forest will be closed from 6.00pm to 7.30pm for a private event, with last admission at 4.30pm. Cloud Forest will reopen at 7.30pm, with last admission at 8.00pm.

Go deep into the Forest
Make your way to the mountain’s peak. Take a closer look at unusual vegetation native to cloud forest habitats, typically found at some 2,000 metres above sea level. Look out for carnivorous plants such as pitcher plants and Venus Flytraps set against a verdant carpet of delicate ferns and mosses — all while enjoying spectacular views of the Marina Bay waterfront. As you ascend, embark on a journey of discovery through The Hidden Forest, a brand-new digital art experience in collaboration with Japan’s NAKED, INC., at Crystal Mountain and Cloud Forest Gallery available from 29 Jun 2024.

Enter 'The Hidden Forest', where secrets lie beneath the canopy, waiting to be unearthed. Through a veil of mist, embark on a journey of discovery as you wander into the heart of an enchanted realm of blooming flowers and frolicking fauna endemic to cloud forests around the world.
Cloud Walk
Take a stroll along the Cloud Walk as you descend the mountain. Admire the vibrant epiphytes that clad the mountain’s sides as you enjoy panoramic views of the Gardens and Marina Bay.
The Cavern
Learn about the characteristics of cloud forest habitats around the world, as well as and unusual species unique to them. Be wowed by the amazing adaptations of epiphytes - these plants don’t grow in soil, but rely on the support of other plants to thrive!
Waterfall View
Take a moment to appreciate Earth’s fresh water sources, learning how epiphyte-laden branches help cloud forests capture water droplets from mist and fog.
Tree Top Walk
From the foot of the mountain, look up and feast your eyes on the luxuriant forest canopy sprawling across the Tree Top Walk.
Secret Garden
Discover some 7,000 plants of more than 135 species and hybrids set amidst a landscape inspired by limestone forests and caves. Be sure to keep an eye out for the miniature orchids here—some of which are so tiny, you’ll need a magnifying glass to spot them!

What can we do to contribute to nature conservation and a more sustainable future? Get inspired at Cloud Forest Theatre! Interact with our holographic display and catch engaging short films to learn about climate change as well as eco-sensitive ways to support these meaningful causes.

Closed from 2 May 2025
Orchid enthusiasts will be thrilled with Orchid Haven, a 280 sqm area dedicated to hosting the cooled conservatory’s changing orchid displays as well as permanent orchid exhibits. With the growing popularity of Cloud Forest’s changing orchid displays, horticulturists recognised the need to carve out more space to showcase orchids.
