I’m absolutely over the moon I found Core Wellness Functional Medicine. When I first walked through the door, I was at rock bottom. I was drained, struggling with brain fog, couldn’t sleep, had constant bloating and loose stools – honestly, I could go on forever. I’d seen every specialist you can think of, and nothing worked.
But after just one visit with Dr. Finnegan, she had a hunch it might be mold toxicity. She ran some tests, and you wouldn’t believe the amount of mold in my system! She took me through everything step by step – how to test my house for mold, how to detox, and how to heal both my gut and my energy. Turns out, the brain fog and fatigue were also linked to my mitochondria, probably from Long Covid. Dr. Finnegan was there every step of the way, guiding me through it all.
And then there’s Magdalena, the amazing nutritionist, who completely transformed my diet and made sure I stuck to it. Together, they helped me from the ground up. Now, I’m exercising, eating properly, I’ve got energy again, my mind’s clear, my gut’s back on track, and – best of all – I’m mold-free!

I came to Dr. Finnegan with whole body dysregulation. I had fatty live disease, no gallbladder, 6 years of IVF medications, treatments and failures, extreme fatigue, brain fog, nausea, loss of appetite and weight loss, migraines, hormonal imbalances and unexplained chronic body pain that conventional doctors could not identify despite MRI's, CT scans and "normal" labs. It is through my work with her over the course of the past year that I identified several root cause issues for most of these symptoms and through healing my gut, liver, hormones and nervous system I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and feeling more and more like myself.

Dr. Carolyn Finnegan is an amazing Functional Medicine Doctor. I have been seeing her for over 2 months, and I began to improve after only two weeks.
