(197) Lay Huan Nanny was highly recommended by my friend who engaged her & extended her stay previously. Nanny genuinely took really good care of me & my baby. Her cooking skills were superb. I personally am a picky eater and do not eat vegetables at all. However, i ate everything that she cooked including vegetables. She took into consideration of my condition before cooking. For example, during the first two weeks when my wound was still healing, she made sure I ate the right food/ingredient to prevent infections. She ensures the kitchen is clean after every use! She also brought her own cooking tools, digital timer, clocks, hanger hook etc in case your house does not have them. She has taught us a lot as first time parents within such a short period of time during her stay. What I really like was that she is very detailed and considerate. She made sure my pump is always available for use and washes bottles as soon baby is done feeding. I never have to ask for anything because she makes sure every thing is ready. She wakes up at night punctually and whenever necessary to check on baby. Very detailed in making sure baby’s umbilical cord is dry and clean. I will highly recommend Lay Huan Nanny to anybody!

Being a second time parent, it is our first time experience engaging confinement nanny and we have chosen Star Confinement agency for this. Main reason being the good reviews received. We are glad to be assigned Chu Yet Tieng 姐 (ST286). Ting 姐 catered to our views on the approach in feeding of baby, washing, etc and was attentive to our baby. Because of my dietary requirements, she's able to prepare dishes that are well suited to my palate. Ting gets along well with my domestic helper and also guided my helper on taking care of my baby so that she's able to carry out the tasks after Ting leave. This makes our life easier as stress level reduced with more helping hands. Overall, Ting has been a great help to our family during the 28 days period and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to our friends in need of confinement nanny.

As first time parents, we can always do our best to prepare beforehand but still feel unprepared the moment we're back home from the hospital. Auntie Ann Wong Lu Lan (ST232) performed her duties conscientiously and made the early days with our newborn more manageable. This gave me and my husband more time together and respite to manage other postpartum issues I was facing. Ann was very approachable and was able to advise us from groceries for confinement food to baby changing and feeding/sleeping habits. This was particularly helpful since we were navigating our way through breastfeeding and formula milk. At the same time, she was also open to us doing things the way we felt comfortable with. Thanks Juz for making the administrative process easy as well. To be honest, we were hesitant to engage a nanny at first because of horror stories we've heard and personal preference to have our own space but found that this agency seems to have the most consistently positive reviews and does not engage in sponsored reviews (to my knowledge). Would recommend STAR Confinement Nanny and Auntie Ann to anyone looking for help in their postpartum journey 🙂

We approach Star Confinement as first time parents and was assigned with Ah Min aunty (ST217). Winnie has been very helpful and patient in answering all my queries which helps a lot! She has been a great help for both hubs and I. We can see her passion when taking care of baby from little actions such as singing songs to him & patiently making him sleep especially when my baby is super fussy one. She’s very easy going and does not force her ideas on us which is what we appreciate. Plus point, she gets very well with my mum which makes the overall atmosphere light hearted and stress free. Despite having little sleep at night, she does not look tired at all everyday. She helps around with laundry to make sure it’s washed frequently. Our house does not do much cooking, she was able to improvise based on what we have and whipped up healthy and nice dishes! All in all, she made my confinement period a breeze by setting a routine in place.
