We would like to thank Aunty Chong (ST139) for taking care of us and of our baby in the past one month. We encountered some issues with our private freelance nanny when we first returned home from the hospital, and had to get a replacement. Thanks to the swift response from STAR agency, we were able to get Aunty Chong in to help us within 48hours! Aunty is very attentive and prompt to our baby’s needs, and is able to calm her well whenever she cries. We are assured that baby is in good hands during the night, and my husband and I are able to rest peacefully! She also has great time management, and is prompt in preparing our meals. This is our second time engaging STAR Confinement. We are very blessed to have Nanny Avery Lim (ST221) to be our confinement nanny this time round for 2 months. Nanny Avery impressed us with her professionalism, cooking skills and loving nature to both our newborn and toddler. Even before coming to our place, Nanny Avery dropped a call to us to check if we have all the confinement related items. Once she arrived at our place, she jumped right straight in to care for our newborn and also to prepare red date tea and meals for us. She is always giving us tips on how to care for our baby and adapting herself based on our parenting style. Even when baby is fussy, she handled her with such great patience and love. She has cooked many yummy confinement food for us which made the confinement period such a bliss and smooth one. Thank you Nanny Avery for taking such good care of us and loving both our newborn and toddler!

We are very thankful to have Aunt Shirley (ST339) as our confinement nanny. She came as a nanny and left as a panda. She is very friendly, responsible, humorous, patient and knowledgeable, be it in baby care or life in general. She took very good care of the 3 of us, always opting to go the extra mile for us and the baby. For context, our fridge and kitchen were mostly unused/empty before she arrived and she helped to buy the necessary for us beforehand. We enjoyed her company immensely and will miss her daily presence. Our baby has been very well taken care of during her period of stay. Various medical appointments with the baby were always worry/fuss free due to her wealth of experience. Being first time curious parents, we were also able to interact with the baby as much as we wanted and she will adjust the schedule accordingly. She is really flexible, understanding and supports our various lifestyle or dietary preferences. Her cooking is really great. Every dish was different and while they were confinement-healthy, they were very cleverly done to be made extremely tasty. She has also kept the house very clean and neat, cleaning up really well after her cooking and daily baby care activities. Lastly, being first time parents, we were gradually equipped with very easy methods, to be proficient in baby care post confinement. All in all, we can confidently say that the entire 6 weeks was worry free, enjoyable and well worth it.
Auntie Irene has been a wonderful help during my confinement period. She takes great care of my baby and is very attentive to his needs — she seems to understand what he needs even before he starts fussing! Her experience and calm nature really helped me feel at ease. She’s also an excellent cook. Every meal was nutritious and delicious, and she was always open to feedback, happily adjusting dishes to suit my tastebuds. I really appreciated how organised she is — she prepares things ahead of time and keeps everything neat and ready, which made our days run so smoothly. I also have a toddler at home, and Auntie Irene was very kind to help out with her whenever she could. She interacted so gently and patiently with her, which made my older child feel included and cared for. Overall, Auntie Irene made my confinement period so much more comfortable and stress-free. I’m very grateful for her care and support, and I would highly recommend her to any family looking for a responsible, experienced, and thoughtful confinement nanny.
Aunty Melinda, Mei Lin (ST184) is a very meticulous nanny and takes good care of my baby and me. She is hardworking and I can see that my baby likes her alot. I've 2 other children and she is a great help as she cooks for us and our children. She also helps to maintain our kitchen well after every cook (really clean and floor is not wet). Also, she follows carefully all the steps of bathing baby from her training, and my baby seems to enjoy her to bath as I rarely her cry! Overall, I'll really recommend you to get her during your confinement!
Couldn’t be more grateful to Winnie and the STAR team for connecting us to our amazing confinement nanny, Auntie Chong Lin Lin. We originally engaged her for 2 months, but ended up extending her stay with us for another 3 months. During her time with us, I always felt our baby was in the very best hands. Auntie Lin Lin has so many amazing qualities, it will be hard to provide an exhaustive list. First and foremost, Auntie Lin Lin is an exceptionally experienced and dedicated professional. She is extremely knowledgeable about baby care and very safety oriented, so much so that after observing her for a day, I knew I could fully trust her with our baby. She is kindhearted, positive, trustworthy, dependable, patient, light-hearted, and possesses a very gentle personality that’s well suited to taking care of babies. She’s also very flexible and adaptable to our family idiosyncrasies and last minute requests. We even took her along on a last minute international trip with our baby at 3 months — she made the long journey look so easy and our travel experience was fuss-free. She also interacted well with our (mischievous) 6 year old and our long-term family helper, so much so that by the end of her time with us I felt that she had become a part of our family. Our baby is now 6 months old and is very healthy and happy — all thanks to Auntie Lin Lin’s dedication, love, and care! Her cooking was also great. In the 5 months she was with us, she rarely repeated dishes. There was always something new to try. If you are looking for a confinement nanny, you won’t regret engaging Winnie and her team at STAR Confinement. They were extremely dependable and responsive to all our questions (even outside of office hours). They also proactively managed all required MOM paperwork and permits. Winnie also took care to match us with Auntie Lin Lin, taking the time to learn about our family and our unique needs and concerns. Before we settled on Auntie Lin Lin, Winnie organised a face to face meeting with her so we could feel comfortable with the match. I also wanted to add that before staring with us, Auntie Lin Lin caught the flu and was sick for a few days, Winnie was concerned about exposing our newborn and took the initiative to arrange a replacement, Auntie Avery (who was also very good!). She stayed with us for a few days until Auntie Lin Lin recovered. Thank you again Winnie and team!
Have engaged nanny Tei Hooi Koon (Jean, ST 316) for a few contracts and totaling to about 8 months. This is because we find her service more trustworthy than domestic helpers. Jean has experience as confinement nanny for newborns and also able to take care of older babies. She has high standard of hygiene and we fully entrust our son under her care. Jean has a bubbly personality and has blended well into our family. She genuinely loves children and has strong passion in her work. Jean is a good recommendation to anyone seeking confinement nannies or even for longer periods.
We’re really thankful to have Alice Lai (st307) as our confinement nanny. She took great care of our newborn and guided us patiently on how to care for him. We learned a lot from her during this period. She’s also very flexible and easy-going, and always happy to adjust her cooking to suit our taste while keeping it healthy and nutritious.
