Since 1975, Gim Tim has been the place to enjoy the nest of Hokkien and Cantonese cuisines in a cosy ambience. Our signature dish – “Buddha Jumps Over the Wall” has won much acclaim amongst gastronomes.

CATERING
Being one of the pioneers in the mobile kitchen arena, Gim Tim has mobile fleet that is specially tailored to cater for outdoor functions. Regardless the location, you can add a touch of fine dining with the finest dishes from our well-known menus.

Service level is great! Food tastes great! Located in hdb and may look humble from the outside but the Chinese food quality is definitely comparable or better than a five star hotel's restaurant.

Casual Chinese restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Serves all the classic dishes like fried noodles /rice, stir fries, braised dishes, seafood, etc. Their house made tofu, whole roast chicken, yam basket, and braised pork buns are worth trying. There is a clean toilet for customers as well. Can be crowded on weekends (pre-covid), so work booking a table ahead.

Love the traditional variety type of Chinese food here. The roast duck and chicken were crispy and well done as usual. The cold combination dish was great too! The sliced garoupa fish dish turned out fresh and flavourful, the way I love it! My fave must be the braised tofu with tau kee as it was superbly done with broth that was not too starchy, just right and really tasty!

Gim Tim Restaurant was very kind to host many special mums a Happy Mother's Day dinner, where we could catch up with fellow mums over delicious food such as drunken prawns, yam rings, steamed fish, and more. Very appreciative that the restaurant made this amazing effort to give us mums a good time over an elaborate dinner and even blessed us with a mother's day gift to take home. Thank you Gim Tim!

Attended a wedding dinner here and I enjoyed the entire night. Food is good. Service is nice. I don’t feel like being rushed. And my wine is always filled without me noticing it. Jia You!

Ordered delivery for Mother's Day. Delivery was prompt and the food were yummy! The standouts were the Kong Bah Bao and Fried Prawn with Pumpkin Cream!

Nice decorate restaurant below HDB. Plenty of car parking space. Food is excellent with Chef Lai around.

Their signature duck and pork in the bun is amazingly good. The rest of the food that we ordered were good as well, but it was the duck that melted in my mouth and keeps me dreaming of the next time I go back. I think they served an extra appetiser (fried fish skin) that was crisp, tasty, but still light. We were seated all the way in a corner, so, sometimes it was hard to signal to the wait staff, but otherwise, food is great. I think the external seating is just for the Lunar New Year festivities, as it doesn't look permanent.
