We begin by getting to know the client to align on business objectives and company needs that are crucial to achieving the goals of the event. During this process, we immerse ourselves in the client’s world to identify inspiration that will ultimately reflect in an out-of-the-box event that creatively mirrors their persona.
WEDDING PLANNING & DESIGN
We design truly unique weddings inspired by the very people we’re celebrating: you. Our approach begins with really getting to know you and the story you want to tell your guests, from which we’ll capture your style and taste, and bring your vision to life. As part of our ethos, we never make assumptions; we pride ourselves in fostering a space that allows you to celebrate to your heart’s desire—we’ll simply guide you every step of the way.
Jove Meyer is a New York NYC wedding planner and destination wedding planner, named “A Top Wedding Planner in the World” by Harpers Bazaar and “Best Wedding Planner in America” by BRIDES.
Our wedding day budgets typically begin at $1,500 per guest, not including our planning fee or the couple’s wardrobe. Because Jove is deeply involved with each of his wedding clients, we can only take a limited number of weddings each year.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Our interior design services are a natural extension of our expertise in events: a well-designed space—whether it’s being used to live, work, or celebrate—begins with a firm understanding of a client’s intent on function and how they want to feel in it. For interiors specifically, we apply a lens of permanence as we carefully infuse the space with bold, colorful, and unique designs that will ultimately shape the flow of the story being told. To further help with its narration, we collaborate with local artists to create approachable, yet one-of-a-kind elements for homes and workspaces that exude joy. We aim to keep comfort as our focus while ensuring a room’s distinctive outcome will leave an impression on all of those who experience it.
- Jove lives and breathes the events industry, and takes great pride in advising venues, hotels, and developers to create efficient, beautiful, and modern spaces for today’s clientele. As a wedding planner in NYC having produced more than 200 events, he thoroughly knows how an event space should flow and function. Furthermore, Jove can consult on branding and social media to attract discerning customers.
- Jove is a dynamic and passionate public speaker who informs and moves his audience with heart and humor. He brings his expertise in design and events to the stage with an energy that allows him to connect with his audience on a profound level. As a queer kid who grew up in a rigid, conservative town with arranged marriages and began his career planning weddings in New York, Jove is naturally a fierce LGBTQIA+ advocate and speaks fervently to his audience about becoming a more inclusive vendor. In 2016, he co-taught the first-ever LGBTQIA+ Wedding Planning Seminar with The Knot and has been speaking about this important topic since then around the globe. Additionally, Jove speaks about diversity, equity, inclusion, and what it means to be a true ally to marginalized communities—fundamentals that power the ethos behind his design firm—and requires all of his creative partners to sign his Ally Pledge.
