Have been reluctant to colour my hair, much less breach it. Govin uses organic products from colouring, to perming. Alex actually ask me what after effect that I'm looking for. He is really patient and meticulous, answering my questions and advising me on hair care, and how do I take care and maintain it at home. There is no ammonia or chemical smell which most Salons have it ... Even while doing it or after I go back home. Love how detailed he is, and trust his professionalism. Did Balayage Color, Caramel~ I love it! If you wanna have your tresses in good hands, look for Alex Yen.

You will not be disappointed. This is probably consider one of the place in the city to get a haircut. I always struggle between what I want and what I need. The stylist finds really good balance and give the best advice ! would highly recommend!!

Alex was very patient when explaining different suggestions he had for hair style & length. Even though my hair was bleached before, it was still soft and smooth after the perm. Highly recommended, very good service, he was very meticulous ๐

A new mum searching for an organic hair treatment and am thankful to come to know about Govin Hairdressing with it so many 5 stars reviews. It has really lived up to it 5 stars reputation and service. Did my 1st ever organic volume rebonding with Alex and definitely love the result and how smooth and natural it turns out. Alex is very delicate, patient and nice to talk to throughout the treatment and giving after treatment care advices. I have to say the treatment is pretty affordable too. Highly recommend it! Will definitely come back to treat the "white highlight" that I have.

Had always wanted to try bleaching and colouring my hair to more vibrant hues but I had some reservations about it. Thankfully, my hairstylist SHINE at Govin was able to address my concerns. Very pleased with his colour recommendation of copper brown, matt green and ash violet blue which turned out gorgeous.

A highly recommend salon where you can unwind your stress. my hairstylist always makes me feel awesome after my... haircut,hair colour or treatment. He gives good haircut and hair colour suggestions which perfectly suits my face ,my skin tone. He will point out when I need to have hair treatment. My friends and I went to the salon on regular basis. Other then Stylist team,Other staff is very friendly and attentive. A comfortable salon,with a excellent service and nice ambience and with a comfortable trusted hairstylist and a satisfying outcome every visit!read more

Loved my hair rebonding experience at Govin SG today. They have vegan and cruelty free products because of which I... chose the place. I was lucky to have met Tom, the cat who was in my lap the entire time. My hair was a total mess before I came to GOVIN. Think ratchet colour, shapeless, and really unsightly (got so bad to... the point where I would just bun up my hair because I couldn't stand the sight of it). A bad experience with a hair salon in JB and lack of quality salons overseas (where I was initially based) put me off all salons in general and I was honestly quite wary. Upon returning to Singapore, I did a quick Google search for salons that offered organic colouring and had genuine positive reviews. When I found GOVIN, I decided to give it a try, and I'm really glad I did. As dramatic as it sounds, Alex saved my tresses and the last shred of my dignity (Thank you Alex!!!)His patience, calm personality, and easy-going conversations in explaining what would work best for your hair puts anyone at ease. I also appreciated the fact he never rushed through the session (which totaled approx 3'ish hours from colour, wash, and cut) and was meticulous at every check-in. The biggest thumbs up for me is definitely the products they use. This is one salon that uses good quality products - organic colouring (for once, I do believe what's advertised as there's 100% no smell whatsoever) and top notch shampoo/conditioner (my hair felt like silk for days after). Overall, this was a value-for-money experience with excellent service. My heartfelt kudos to Alex also for going the extra mile, and sharing those styling tips as well! I'm a very happy customer, and will definitely be coming back for future visits.read more

If you color your hair often, you may want to consider their organic coloring by Shine Wong. The price is very... reasonable and my hair stylist shine takes very good care of my hair. His service is super. He is very customer centric. There were couple of times when I called him last minute for a hair do, he did his best to accommodate my request, even at the expense of cancelling his leave. Besides organic hair coloring service, I also enjoyed the scalp therapy. Overall, rating, 5/5.read more

Was at Govin wanting to do hair rebonding. Then Alex proposed to do some change to my "usually boring" hair. He did... volume rebond and gave my ends some perm (something I would never thought of doing). Absolutely pleased with the outcome - manageable yet lively hairstyle instead of bored flatness. My hair color was in pretty bad shape and in many faded colors, overall very uneven. Was worried that it will take a... long time to fix it, however through the Experienced hair stylist (his name : Shine) at Govin SG, it was fix pretty fast and it took bout 3 hours plus cut. This is my first time to wear a mask and get my hair fix, but overall it is a breeze and I like it. Their product is good for the hair and not harmful, after dying the hair is healthy and soft , not drying. I would recommend if u need a hair fix that is affordable,Do check out their current promotion .read more
