Tony is an elected member of the Institute of Physics, Singapore. Institute of Physics (IOP) is one of the top Physics organisation in Singapore. Back in 1923, Professor Albert Einstein visited Singapore. Subsequently, Professor Paul Dirac also came to Singapore shores. IOP’s elected fellows include our President Dr Tony Tan, Professor Christian Joachim as well as Professor Paul Davies. Various Nobel Laureates such as Professor Gerardus ‘t Hooft and Professor Yang Chen-Ning are also part of the IOP Singapore family.

1. Who can benefit from our physics tuition classes?

Our physics tuition classes are for secondary school and junior college / pre-university physics students. Any student from these levels studying A-Level, O-Level, IP or IB curriculums can benefit from the classes.

2. How are the classes structured?

During lessons, we will cover the fundamental and subsequently in-depth concepts. We will also work on practice questions together, ranging from foundational ones to the challenging questions.
Typically, students will attend one lesson each week. Closer to the year-end and national examinations, students can also choose to attend lessons twice a week. In the periods of school holidays, we will also have intensive revision programs to revise all the content and practice on key questions.

3. What qualifications do your physics tutor have?

Mr Tony Chee is a highly experienced teaching professional with a strong background in Physics and years of teaching experience. He is an ex-MOE teacher, IP curriculum designer and NIE lecturer who trained the next generation of physics teachers. He obtained his first-class honours degree in Physics and has won several MOE teaching awards. Mr Chee is passionate about helping students understand complex concepts and excel in their exams.
