Quality Teaching Only
Quality in teaching is our upmost priority, which we ensure in the following ways:
* All tutors at TBT go through rigorous screening and testing that can take more than a month, before ever teaching their first formal class.
* A tutors' coaching session is held weekly, where tutors are mentored by the founder (Mr Keefe).
* Every single class ends with an after-lesson feedback form, for students to give feedback and point out any errors. During our weekly tutors' coaching session, we review and act upon the feedback weekly to make sure every class is better than the last.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you teach physical lessons?
Yes! Starting 2024, you choose between coming online or physically.
Q: Other than weekly lessons, what are the other perks of being a student here?
There are a plethora of benefits, including notes, flashcards, lesson clips, extra practice papers, 24/7 whatsapp help, snacks when you come for physical lessons... just to name a few!

Q: Do I need to turn on my mic/camera during online lessons?
It is not compulsory, though we encourage students to respond to questions their tutor poses to the class via the zoom chat!
Q: Is there a lot of homework?
The weekly homework consists of a few questions, and is highly manageable (We don't believe in overloading students with homework when they already have enough from school).
Homework is also not compulsory to do, although if you do it, you can claim Homework Points for rewards! (e.g. Bubble Tea, Starbucks Gift Card)
Q: How many students are there in a class?
The cap for physical class will be around 20-25 students. Don't be daunted by the numbers, try it out yourself in a trial lesson, and see why so many students still love our classes.
Q: What levels do you teach?
We teach only Sec 3/4 O Level Pure Bio, so we can truly specialise and develop the best lessons, teaching methods and resources for our students.
Sec 3s, classes open for you June of each year!
Q: Do you teach combined bio?
At the moment, only Pure Bio.
Q: Do you teach 1-1 tuition?
No, we have too many students to afford the time to teach 1-1. Good news: Our students can ask us questions 1-1 on WhatsApp, 24/7!
Q: But what if I can’t ask all the questions I want in a group class?
In my experience, our students never face this problem because they can ask questions 24/7 on WhatsApp.
We even take the time to voice message them explanations if the question is more complex.
Q: Are all the classes taught by Mr Keefe?
No, as we have a small and elite team of tutors who each take classes of their own.
Rest assured that no matter which timeslot you go to, the content and methods taught is the same across tutors, as we standardise it for every lesson.
Q: Can I try just one lesson?
Yes! Trial lessons cost the fees of 1 lesson. To apply for a trial lesson, fill in the form via the "Apply Here" button below.
*Note that students who signup for a trial lesson first before joining as a regular student will have to pay a registration fee (waived for students who signup immediately without a trial lesson).
