"Baristart Coffee Singapore is a Hokkaido-based concept cafe that serves savoury bites from the region and its signature lattes. The cafe uses the finest quality of milk specially imported from Hokkaido where its livestock industry is the strongest in Japan.

The milk comes from a relatively rare and unique breed of brown jersey cattle that only has a population of 800 cows in the region. It produces a very rich flavour in its milk and includes plenty of butterfat and protein.

The milk is carefully selected by Baristart's head barista and resident milk connoiseur, Yuki Takeuchi. He has gained great understanding of the dairy industry through his visits to the farm around Hokkaido.
