As first-time parents, we were not sure on how to help Celeste adjust to the school routine when she first started at MindChamps PreSchool @ West Coast Plaza. Thanks to the patience of the experienced teachers, Celeste now enjoys school very much and has learnt a lot of new things. She has made many new friends and is loved by all the teachers at school. We hope she will continue to have the passion for learning as it is a lifelong journey, and we trust that MindChamps PreSchool @ West Coast Plaza will continue to play the important role in her learning journey.

We are very grateful to all the teachers for helping Benjamin to get used to the new environment. I think they have done a great job in helping him to enjoy school, as he initially resisted due to some past unpleasant experience. The teachers are very cordial and they are willing to go the extra mile, including the administrative staff. They give us a pleasant and comforting experience in putting our child there, assuring us that they will take good care of him.

We would definitely recommend MindChampsPreSchool @ West Coast Plaza to any parent who want to place their child in a preschool with a loving, caring and professional environment to bring out the best in every child. Thank you very much MindChamps, and blessings to you.

Nicole transferred from MindChamps Infant Care to West Coast Plaza centre last June. She has grown tremendously and achieved many milestones by leaps and bounds, especially her linguistic skills. She is able to communicate in short complete sentences both in English and Mandarin at a tender age of 2.5 years. Our family and friends were pleasantly surprised and impressed on various occasions when we heard her speak.

I attribute her progress to the dedication of her teachers (Teacher Habsah and Liu Laoshi) and conducive school environment that provided her with the opportunity to practise and experience a 365-degree form of learning.

On a separate note, I appreciate MindChamps’ teacher-parent partnership. This approach has enabled us to work together to instil values and knowledge in and out of classroom settings. Thank you MindChamps West Coast Plaza and all teachers for nurturing resilient and socially responsible Champs!

Rui An joined MindChamps West Coast Plaza preschool since October last year. In the beginning, we worried if he could fit in at his new school after changing 2 schools in one year due to COVID-19.

However, he showed interest in his new school and got on well with teachers and friends quickly. He was very happy to go to school every day which made us feel quite happy.

The teachers took great efforts to help him fit in his new environment and help him overcome some difficulties. For example, teachers partnered with us to help him not wear diapers during the daytime which is a big milestone for him before turning 4 years old.

Thank you, teachers, for your efforts and patience. We look forward to seeing more growth and development of Rui An with your caring and coaching.

2020 was not a usual year for most of us, especially when the pandemic hit us hard and fast. I am writing this letter with a thankful heart because Hegan enjoys and looks forward to school daily as he is in a centre where he is well taken care of. He’s able to integrate well into this conducive family with ease before and after the suspension of classes.

All the teachers who have taught him or are teaching him currently are wonderful. Despite being in the centre for less than a year, he loves his teachers and friends.

When school was closed due to COVID-19, Hegan was constantly engaged with the teachers through home-based learning, which I think is a great effort put in by the school and teachers despite the sudden change in teaching methods. They are always looking at ways to keep the kids on track in terms of their learning.

We feel that MindChamps at West Coast Plaza has given Hegan the opportunity to experience that learning is fun at an early age. This would be useful and important as a strong baseline for his growing up phase and most importantly, in forming a positive attitude.

I would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Teacher Habsah for her dedication by constantly updating us on Hegan’s behaviour, learning experiences and assuring us that Hegan is doing okay and is well taken care of in school.

There are many other teachers, assistant teachers and helpers to thank for keeping Hegan safe in school and ensuring that his learning journey in MindChamps at West Coast Plaza is a pleasant one. They have taken good care of him even though they are not the main teachers of his class. We can’t thank you all enough! 😊

When we shifted to West Coast in December 2019, as much as we did not want Taylor to be separated from her classmates of previous years, we also made the decision to change Taylor’s school to accommodate the daily travel.

Since Taylor had also previously been in a MindChamps preschool, and we had confidence in and liked the system and culture of MindChamps, our natural choice was to send her to MindChamps West Coast Plaza.

After almost a year now, we are very glad to have made the right decision. Everything has far exceeded our expectations. Taylor enjoys school very much, and we are able to see great academic progress and social development in her.

We would like to express our gratitude to the dedicated teachers and staff at MindChamps West Coast Plaza.

The fact that Justin likes to go to school speaks a thousand words. Every morning, he will wave, say bye to me and walk out of the door happily.

And he comes home happy. Every time we ask him ‘Do you like your school?’, he says ‘Yes’ and keeps nodding his head. We get the same response when we ask him ‘Do you like your teachers?’, ‘Do you like your friends?’, ‘Do you like learning music?’ and so on.

As I find out what he has learnt in class via the teacher-parent communication app, sometimes I would ask questions like, ‘Did you sing 划小船?’, and Justin would immediately hum the song to us.

He is becoming a positive, confident, and bright young man! Kudos to the teachers at MindChamps West Coast Plaza!

I would like to express our thanks to all of the teachers who have contributed so much to Lauren’s development over the last few months. Particular thanks to Teacher Jane and Kang Lao Shi who Lauren talks about incessantly when she is at home. We have seen Lauren develop considerably over this period and much of the credit for that must go to all at MindChamps PreSchool at West Coast Plaza.
