A Bond that Builds: Dave & Dr Paul’s Mentoring Story
A Bond that Builds: Dave & Dr Paul’s Mentoring Story
In 2024, 9-year-old Dave began mentoring sessions with Dr Paul, gradually overcoming his shyness through activities like drawing, Lego, and origami. While Dr Paul could not change Dave’s family circumstances, he helped him face life with hope and resilience, fostering self-confidence and expression. Their bond deepened over shared activities and story times, evolving from structured mentoring into a meaningful relationship where both gave and received. Regular updates and communication with Dave’s parents supported his growth, illustrating the powerful impact of committed mentorship on a child’s development.
