I’ve known the team for many years now, and have used their IT consulting service to help build mobile apps, websites and software developments. Impressive work yet cost-effective prices. My first project with Hipster Inc was in late 2017, when we were looking into ways to better our Tueetor app. It was a tall order, as the app was already gaining some popularity in the community back then, and we did not want to “reinvent the wheel” too much, for fear of losing it.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Not only did Nikhil and his team create a more robust, intuitive and scaleable version, in a nutshell, they made it elegant. So complete, the Tueetor app went on to bag the Asia Smart App Award for 2019. Hipster has also been instrumental in many groundbreaking features we see later on the app, winning us even more users and accolades.
Convinced that the team would continue to shine, I invited them back in 2020 to assist in the development of 10-Minute Tutor – an on-demand tutor app that combines both video-telephony and marketplace core functionalities into one. Hipster rose to the challenge.
In addition to mobile applications, Nikhil, alongside his talented and committed team members, also advise and develop some of Tueetor’s web stacks. Hipster was founded in 2016 by Nikhil and Bok after a dinner discussion in a hawker center. Back then, they did most of the work out of a HDB flat. As a pragmatic entrepreneur, Nikhil believes that technology only makes sense when it is commercially viable. We might not always tell you what you want to hear, but we definitely problem-solve with you.
Today, we have two main offices, Singapore and India. We don't follow corporate conventions such as a work dress code, but we take our work seriously.

We have recently received complaints that members of the public are targeted by some agents through WhatsApp who claim to be from Hipster Private Limited and using our UEN number of Hipster Private Limited to prove that they are legit Singapore companies.
They also use a similar looking domain name, our logo, and address on the website to make it as similar & credible as possible.
We want to make it very clear that Our company doesn't appoint any agent/recruiter for this so call 'money earning by apps rating' or 'any Ponzi scheme' where you need to deposit any money to get jobs.
Our jobs are always posted on official company pages on social media such as Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and WSG.
