Orlando Health infusion clinics achieved a 32% reduction in patient wait times by optimizing scheduling templates using the infusion scheduling template generator. Scheduling improvements enabled these high-demand clinics to offer patients appointments four to six days sooner, recover 200 patient care hours per month across their sites, and balance nurse workload, contributing to a 50% increase in nurse satisfaction.
From Free Text to Follow-Up: How AI Is Helping Turn Incidental Findings into Early Cancer Diagnosis

The Christ Hospital used AI to identify lung nodules documented in radiologists’ free-text impressions of patient scans and send them to nurse navigators who coordinated additional diagnosis and monitoring. Navigators followed up on almost 5,000 additional lung nodules, leading to 116 additional cancers being detected across The Christ Hospital’s network. Because of this work, 64 patients began treatment for cancer.
Reducing Wait Times and Boosting Revenue with Patient Self-Scheduling and Text Reminders for Imaging

By giving patients the ability to schedule their own imaging exams in MyChart, Mount Sinai Medical Center decreased the appointment lead time by 40%. The organization started sending automated scheduling reminders via text message, boosting self-scheduling by 128%. This effort resulted in $1.8 million in additional revenue from exams that might have otherwise gone unscheduled.
