The aspiration of the Swan Ballet Academy is to bring the true Singapore dance talent forward, provide a proper classical ballet training, and give everyone a change to enjoy the art of ballet.
Principal teacher Elizabeth Zheng
Famous on the Singapore dance scene and with 15 years of teaching experience. Elizabeth is a talented multifaceted dancer with a vivacious, elegant style and infectious enthusiasm. At a tender age of 5, she received her professional Russian Vaganova ballet training at GuangZhou ballet company and Far East ballet academy Shanghai. At 16 she was awarded a scholarship to continue her training at LaSalle College of the Arts. Elizabeth performed multiple ballet production with Singapore Dance Theatre.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours majoring in Classical Ballet, Character Dance and Contemporary Dance from LaSalle College of the Arts . She is a registered teacher with Royal Academy Dance UK.
As a popular and well established teacher, Elizabeth has been involved in teaching in NAFA, NAFA school of young talent, numerous MOE schools in Singapore.

I've been taking Adult Ballet classes for over two years, learning from Ms Elizabeth and Ms Germaine. I started in the beginner class and now attend pointe classes too. Ms Elizabeth is very encouraging and gives individual corrections, which really helped me improve. Her mat exercises, especially for the abs, were tough at first, but now I understand how important they are for building strength. Ms Germaine’s classes are very step-by-step and targeted — the exercises may seem simple, but you’ll definitely feel the muscles working the next day! I also love the atmosphere here. The beginner class students are welcoming and supportive — we encourage each other, laugh together. It feels so much more uplifting and not-competitive compared to other ballet schools I've tried. The studio itself is beautiful too — it's bright with big windows overlooking trees. Dancing with sunlight and greenery around makes each class even more enjoyable.
