Ang Mo Kio Methodist Preschool provides 3-hour Playgroup (PG) programme for children aged 18 months to 2 years old as well as 4-hour and 6-hour preschool programmes for children 2 to 6 years old at the Pre-Nursery to K2 levels. We are located within the spacious compound of Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church and have been serving families in the Ang Mo Kio, Yio Chu Kang and neighbouring estates since 1982.

Children enjoy and benefit from experiential learning of concept-based tasks through a balance of exploration and play-based activities. Our holistic STEM-based, tech-enabled curriculum coupled with thematic-based learning prepare our children for P1 and beyond.

Our team of qualified and experienced educators are well-trained to ensure that children cultivate healthy habits, positive learning dispositions and good values through Christian education. We are committed to nurture every child to be a person of Good Character, with future-ready mindsets of an Explorer, an Innovator and an Entrepreneur.

Hello, I am June, principal of Ang Mo Kio Methodist Preschool.

I’ve always believed that early childhood is more than just the start of education — it’s the foundation of who we become. My passion for this work comes from a simple but powerful belief: Every child deserves to be seen and heard. Every team member deserves to feel supported and valued. And every family deserves to be included and respected.

I believe in building genuine relationships and open collaboration with children, families and colleagues. It matters to me that children feel safe to grow, parents feel like partners and teachers know they are never alone in their work.

What keeps me going? It’s the small, often unseen moments — a child’s quiet breakthrough, a teacher’s smile at the end of a tough day, a parent’s gentle “Thank you.” These moments are quiet but they speak loudly to my heart.

To me, learning is not just a destination — it’s a journey. And whether you are a parent, a teacher or a child, I hope this is a place where you feel welcome, supported and inspired.

• I am very happy with my son’s kindergarten experience with Ang Mo Kio Methodist Preschool. The caring and nurturing environment at school enables him to learn joyfully, develop confidence and enjoy his school time. As a parent, we have got multiple opportunities to see our kid interact with teachers and their peers in the school environment, be it during birthday celebration, fun fair, graduation ceremony or family day and have always witnessed teachers to be motivating and the school environment conducive to learning. Apart from the curriculum, the school also focuses on developing the right values in them at this tender age. Salvadora and Svitlana have been with the school for two years now. Thanks to the teachers, they were able to adapt quickly and enjoy their preschool experience. Our daughters’ enthusiasm is evident when we see them come home and sing the songs they learnt and share about their day in school. We also appreciate the opportunities given for our daughters to grow. In particular, Salvadora has grown more confident, and Svitlana more responsible.
