I have been in the fitness industry for 12 years doing everything from being a personal trainer focusing in rehab to now being an owner of a fitness club. My sports background includes rowing, Australian rules football, rugby, cross country, cycling, triathlon and now resistant training in the gym. I am from Perth, Western Australia and moved to Singapore over 2 years ago, to start the Anytime Fitness Balestier branch. Since then, my family and I have opened a gym in Australia and two supplement retail outlets. We are now trying to bring our supplement company, 4WN Supplements, to Singapore. I am very passionate about what I do, as my hobbies include business and health. If you see me around the club, don't hesitate to say hi and have a chat with me!


Nadhirah Azlie


Manager


Nadhirah started out as one of our ITE interns and after completing her internship, she started working with us full time. She is currently completing her work study Diploma in Lifestyle and Recreational Management. Before her fitness journey started, she was a performing arts student who participated in Singapore Youth Festival and did stage shows in her school. After finishing school, Nadhirah found working out was her passion and discovered that group classes was her favourite way to do it. With our manager Shenevie, they put themselves through tough but fun Les Mills workouts to get fitter and stronger. When Nadhirah is not busy working out you can find her doing interior design artwork whilst indulging in her favourite pastime, eating! Nadhirah’s dream is to have her very own pink car specifically the Honda Civic Type-R FK8 model! She is a very bubbly and personable person who loves to chat to everyone and anyone. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask her!


Shenevie Wong


Manager


Shenevie started her fitness journey at the age of 16 when her mother took her to a Les Mills group class and since then has never looked back. After a few years of group classes, she made the leap to add more strength training to her regime and found it to improve her performance greatly. In the past, Shenevie used to be overweight and was teased at school because of it. When she started her fitness journey, it helped her gain more confidence and helped her lose the extra weight she was carrying. While training at the gym, she made friends with a lot of the regulars and trainers who helped her learn more, particularly with the TRX. She also has 2 years of Muay Thai training experience. One thing you may not know about her is that she has a degree in Biomedical Science and a patent under her name! She is also a huge animal lover and a foodie at heart. She is our go-to girl for all matters in the gym as the Manager of AF Balestier & Geylang!


Nur Elyana

We'd like to introduce you to Elyana, your membership consultant! Formerly our ITE intern, Elyana is embarking on a new journey with us as part of the Work-Study Diploma in Lifestyle and Recreational Management. At the age of 13, Elyana came across dance choreography videos on YouTube and became fascinated with it. From there, she taught herself how to dance which then turned into one of her greatest passions as she got older. The genre she enjoys most is Hip-Hop. During her free time, Elyana enjoys watching Korean Drama. She also watches horror movies, though she has her eyes covered the entire time! The recent show she watched and loves fervently was Netflix's Physical 100! Elyana’s outgoing personality makes her love meeting new people, exchanging knowledge and laughter! Don’t be shy if you see her around the gym, she would be delighted to say hi and have a chat!


Alif Syakirin

Meet our Membership Consultant, Alif! Fun facts about Alif! If you are a fan of dad jokes, you'll be interested to know that Alif is too! He is always happy to share dad jokes with anyone that asks. When it comes to Sundays, his preferred activity is a picnic with his guitar. Alif has been playing the guitar for more than 4 years as a hobby. He enjoys slow rock from the 1980s and 1990s as well as flamenco. Alif began working out when he was 13 years old. Alif had to take a break from training for two years since he had severe elbow injuries (Triceps Snapping Syndrome). Since recovering he enjoys doing multiple sets of lightweight exercises in the gym with the goal of increasing the weight and getting stronger. His preferred training time is at a very early 4am, which will allow him to train and then eat a delicious breakfast with no rush. If you see him at the club do not be shy to say hello and have a chat!


Sari Said


Trainer


Meet our new trainer, Sari! Sari has been in the fitness industry for more than 20 years. He has experience in fat loss, gaining muscle, hyperthrophy training, metabolic training, contest prep and corrective exercise for injuries. He also has a few athletes under his care whom he trains and prepare them for bodybuilding competitions! Fun fact about Sari is that he is an adrenaline junkie! He loves rock climbing and sky diving! On his downtime, he loves reading a good book! Don't be shy to have a chat with him when you see him at the gym! He might look big and menacing, but he has a big heart in helping people reach their fitness goals! Should you be looking for a trainer to help you get to your fitness goals, he's the guy to look for!
