I first discovered Aether Athletics on ClassPass and decided to sign up for the trial to experience all four different classes. I thoroughly enjoyed each one, with the Fire and Water classes being my favorites. I appreciate their holistic approach to fitness. Each class is meticulously planned to ensure you get the most out of the 50-minute session. Conveniently located just a short walk from Raffles Place MRT, the classes are small, offering an almost personal training experience. Overall, it's a fantastic deal for the price.

A new gym on the outskirts of CBD that offers a comprehensive menu of fun workouts for your functional fitness needs! Fret not, there is a shower here so you'll be able to get ready for a post-session date in a flash. There is also a lounge area, so if you'd like to get some last minute work done before or after a class, they've got you covered too. I am pleased to say that this is not one of those gyms that cancels classes if the headcount is insufficient. Be it a fully booked session or just one of you, the trainers at Aether are always present and ready to conduct a class. As you might surmise from their name, Aether splits their classes into four elemental themes, each category living up to their namesakes, all of them beginner-friendly. the Fire and Earth classes are great pain caves to build your foundational fitness — the former engages your major muscle groups to build your base while the latter trains their endurance. The Air classes are great for improving your dexterity and coordination, balancing out your improved form from Fire and Earth. Water, then, is perhaps the most important class of them all. All that effort requires a solid core while maintaining flexibility, and the Water programme is designed to engage and stretch your joints and muscles to keep them supple and ready to make the most out of the other classes. The best workout is only as good as its recovery, and you can do no better than what the Water classes have to offer. A class is only as fun as its trainers, and here Aether delivers in spades. Every trainer I've had the privilege of meeting here has been nothing but positive and approachable and will readily adapt and alter their programme to accommodate any injury or condition you may have so that you'll complete your class without issue. Safety is a definite priority here and while they will encourage you to push yourself to your limits, they are also the first to ensure that you do not push so hard that you hurt yourself. If you are looking to work yourself into a fitter you, I can think of no safer space than Aether.

Friendly coaches, no shame if you can't figure out the moves hahaha my hand eye coordination is not the best and it took me a while to get used to some of the moves, but the coach was very patient and let me move slowly!! Second floor is very cozy too. Kettlebells start from 8.5kg btw!! Wall balls start from 4kg. There's one shower/toilet and they provide towels, so it's very convenient if you want to go before work or go for a date after exercising.

Was hoping around classpass for a home gym and came across Aether. The classes offered here fits what I wanted to work on in my fitness journey and the instructors really motivate you to push harder. Most importantly, the members made classes fun and enjoyable! It is a good place for beginners to start!

First tried Aether on classpass for the strength class and immediately felt the difference in the quality of coaching here. Signed up with the gym quickly after that! The different themes makes the exercises planned not only functional but fun too! I've done all the themes with all the trainers and honestly, all of them are welcoming and amazing. Unlike a lot of other gyms, the coaches here pay good attention to the class members and correct promptly. The members are really chill and nice too! Facilities are clean and there's a cute little chill loft upstairs. Apart from the single toilet limitations (there is an additional changing room upstairs, though), this is such a great gym no matter your fitness level.
