Am proud to say I started my lash journey with The Lash Academy! I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in life, wasn’t sure about where my career was going, and didn’t have any passion or hobby before lashing. I came across one of TLA’s post when I was scrolling Instagram, and thought, “Why not give lashing a try?”, since I always had lash extensions on myself and I knew how much they give a girl confidence! After much research (pricing, quality, recognition), I decided to sign up with TLA.
I started with their Eyelash Business Start Up Course, and then furthered my lash education with their Russian Volume Essentials Course. I was coached and mentored by trainers Vicky and Rachel, and I gotta say, they really were amazing! There were a lot of information in both courses, the trainers made sure we understood everything that was taught, answered all our questions and doubts, as well as gave everyone 1:1 attention during practice time to make sure we got the technique right. After the courses, we were still required to do sets on models as practice and have the trainers evaluate our work on the practice models. They always gave constructive criticism when there was room for improvement in any areas, and gave a lot of encouragements and praises in areas we (as students) did well, which I think is very important because lashing requires very immaculate skills.
Fast forward a year later, I’m really glad I went with The Lash Academy to start my journey in the beauty industry. Thank you, Vicky and Rachel, for always being so patient and encouraging with me. Not forgetting Lee Joon, also TLA’s staff, who was always so helpful with my course registrations and my purchases! I truly enjoyed both courses, and I think I’d always look back and thank myself for taking this step and choosing the right place to receive my education.
