SOCIAL MISSION
Mamre Oaks hopes to reach out to adults aged 16 and above with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities who require a higher level of support. These adults are unable to benefit from vocational training in special schools or social service sectors, and are currently not engaged in any open employment or sheltered workshops.
The impact of low income families with adult with IDD is even more evident. Hence, Mamre Oaks is committed as part of the social mission of Caritas Singapore to reach out to low income families.
WHAT WE DO
At Mamre Oaks, we engaged the members with different core activities such as cooking, baking, arts & craft, music, boxercise and zumba,
movement & relaxation etc.. to keep them active on a daily basis. We also organise fun workshops and monthly outings to encourage them to be interactive with their surroundings and to learn a new skill.
Mamre Oaks is a day centre catered for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
We are opened from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Our team of staff is equipped with skillsets in caring for our members with mild intellectual disabilities. Safety measures and considerations are put in place to ensure a safe and conducive environment.
NURTURING & EMPOWERING
Daily activities are planned and carried out to encourage members to be socially engaged. In addition, a volunteering system is in place to support our members. We believe in empowering them to lead life with meaning, dignity & fulfilment.
HOSPITABLE
Building a community of support is key in our advocacy, and we will continue to create an environment that is welcoming, accepting and respectful.
