OUR APPROACH

Our curriculum encompasses a wide range of practices which include the Reggio Emilia approach, Forest Schooling, as well as the Ecology & Environmental Sustainability approach. From this holistic base, we bring learning to life in our beautiful and nature-rich environment.

THE REGGIO EMILIA APPROACH

The Reggio Emilia method believes that the child is the centre of his or her own learning universe. Parents, teachers, and the community are all collaborators throughout the child’s journey through learning.

FOREST SCHOOL

Forest Schooling is a long-term outdoor education process that is holistic and learner-led. It allows children to develop themselves through healthy engagement with risk, problem-solving and self-discovery, all within a natural environment in a hands-on and thoughtful manner.

SUSTAINABILITY EDUCATION

Sustainability education addresses the ongoing capacity of Earth to maintain all life. Sustainable patterns of living meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

Our setting is far from your usual one. Children spend hours outdoors daily, rain or shine, in our Natural Playscapes designed by a Nature Specialist.
