Eunice Tan
Artist
Eunice is a self-taught artist who was born deaf. Despite her disabilities, Eunice had a passion for the arts and engaging people with her talent. In her spare time, as well as part of her job scope in an advertising agency, Eunice learnt to sew and weave. The immense joy and satisfaction that she received from these activities fuelled a passion to develop and perfect her craft. Primarily a textile artist, Eunice also learnt to paint, allowing her artistic expression to not be limited to one medium. Her work often explores the interactions between people and nature.
Eunice was finally able to make her artistic debut with ArtBeatz in 2012; her dream as a professional artist realised. Since then, she has been involved in various events and community art projects with the company. Eunice is an artist who has never allowed her disability to stop her! She is constantly challenging herself to learn new things and push her artistic boundaries through her projects with ArtBeatz. Having worked with a diverse group of people, Eunice’s compassionate nature as well as her love for art allows her to comfortably engage with any age demographic. She is also the recipient of the Mediacorp Enable Fund as recognition for her work and passion despite her disability.
In 2019, Eunice was recognised for her efforts and love for art by receiving an award from the MediaCorp Enable Fund. Such recognition has driven her to continue pushing boundaries in her art, as well as her interactions with the community. Currently, Eunice is weaving sea creatures to create an art installation to make a statement on marine conservation. She also wishes to visually demonstrate the harmful effects of global warming on our Singapore shores, especially the threats to our hard-coral species.
D’Gers
Artist
D’Gers is an artist from France who moved with her family to Singapore 6 years ago. From a young age, she enjoyed meeting people, traveling, exploring cultures, wildlife, architecture, and enjoying festive wine as well as dining with friends.
D’Gers holds Diplomas in Marketing Communication, Interior Design, and Fine Arts. Alongside with 18+ years of international experience in various positions such as Marketing Manager and Events Director.
D’Gers has developed a unique concept through her Art by focusing on sustainability using recycled materials for creativity. She conducts Art Workshops focused on mental health for Corporate, VIP customers, Schools or Groups of Friends. She is able to help others enhance their emotions, develop self-awareness, explore self-expression, cope with stress, boost self-esteem, as well as work on social skills, through the practice or appreciation of Art. D’Gers also works on commissions of personalized art pieces,and murals.
D’Gers has created an eco-friendly brand to introduce Art to the daily lives of everyone with her various home life products and fashion accessories. Her new Fashion Bundle; ‘Shophouse’ Series has facemasks, scarfs, handbags, postcards, posters, acrylic paperweights, all dedicated to gifts for Corporate or Individuals. Sun Yu-Li
Artist
Artist Sun Yu-Li is one of Singapore’s leading architect turned artist, most notably in sculpture, but has since extended his artistic pursuit to doing experiential art in the last 16 years. His sculptures and paintings can be seen in different parts of Singapore, and overseas. He has a very distinctive style in his artwork formed over the past 30 years and has developed his own unique ‘universal language’ (‘dot-line-plane’) that made it easy for the public’s involvement in the co-creation process. This Universal Language explores the intricate relationships between people and the space around them, both natural and man-made. It also looks at how communities interact within and between the space. His style involves creating a master image using his signature language and leaving space in between for various members of the community to paint their inputs. The result is a masterpiece that captures the thoughts of many, all joined together by the artist. ArtBeatz and Sun Yu-li have worked together for years creating visually impactful works that engage communities in meaningful art creation.
