Established since 1983, Bedok Methodist Preschool is located within the spacious compound of Bedok Methodist Church. Nestled in a serene neighbourhood off Bedok Road, our preschoolers enjoy a safe, fun, relaxed and stimulating learning environment with well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning areas. We offer 3-hour Playgroup for children aged 18 months – 2 years old and 4-hour & 6-hour pre-nursery, nursery and kindergarten programmes for children aged 2 – 6 years old.

Our strong team of qualified and experienced educators are well-trained to administer holistic STEM-based and tech-enabled curriculum within a safe and conducive learning environment to attain our desired learning outcomes as well as inculcate our core values and nurture positive learning dispositions in our children.

We adopt play-based, inquiry- and project-based learning approaches suited to age appropriateness as our preschoolers transit from pre-nursery to kindergarten levels to stimulate children’s affinity to curiosity, exploration, discovery and creativity. Our north star is enable our children to maximise their potential and to nurture every child to be a person of Good Character, who is an Explorer, an Innovator and an Entrepreneur.

Hi, I am Audrey, the principal of Bedok Methodist Preschool. It is a joy to be working with a team of committed and loving teachers and staff.

I believe that children are capable, resilient and when given a chance, their potential is endless. At Bedok Methodist Preschool, we help children realise their potential through exploration, activities that are age appropriate as well as inculcating values that reflect God’s goodness and love for us. We strive to work in partnership with our parents to help the children achieve greater things through God’s grace and time.

Long Service Award Recipients 2022

Four long-service award recipients from Bedok Methodist Preschool (BMP) share insights of their journey as early childhood educators. Albeit playing different roles at BMP for the past 5 to 10 years, common traits of the recipients are their dedication, passion and joy in their faithful service in answer to the calling in the early childhood industry.

We thank God for all our wonderful team of educators and support staff at Methodist Preschools whose unwavering commitment have enabled us to stay true to our north star to nurture every child to be a person of Good Character, who is an Explorer, an Innovator and an Entrepreneur!

• Our boy, Yeo Zhi, joined BMP in K1 as we were looking for a kindergarten as his former school is converting to childcare.

The friendly and caring teachers helped to ease him into his class very quickly.

Mr Jornie gave keen observations of him in class and put our mind at ease both to his learning and welfare in school. Lin Lao shi managed to engage his interest in chinese and he often talks about what he learns in class. The craft and cookery classes were interesting and he benefited much from it. He also joined the extra art class. He enjoys it very much and developed his artistic skills.

There were many school events that helped to make him feel at home. The principal and office staff are all very approachable and helpful making it a smooth school transition.

* Our daughter, Rhythm has been with Bedok Methodist Preschool since Pre-Nursery. She is excited to go to school since her first day as she gets to learn new things.

Apart from the comprehensive academic curriculum, the school provides conducive environment for nurturing creativity, social skills, artistic expression and logical thinking. Not forgetting values like kindness, sharing, self-reliance, and sensitivity towards their surroundings that the school inculcates. Children learn through interesting activities, exploring within the safe environment under the supervision of protective and caring teachers.
