Certis Corporate University (CCU) is the first of its kind for the security industry in Asia and it will equip Certis employees with the relevant knowledge and skillsets to be future ready.

CCU will leverage innovative learning technologies and new pedagogies to drive effective continuous learning. It will focus on developing digital, multi-skilled workers and leaders for the future.

Certis Corporate University drives the development of a future-ready workforce by focusing on four core areas

Incorporating innovative technologies and methods to enhance the applied learning experience such as multiple scenario-based immersive learning

Certis supports employees in enhancing their digital skills and literacy through next generation technologies such as Cloud technology, AI, Data Analytics, Robotics and 5G technology

Training curriculum also incorporates the learning of digital skills such as Argus and Office 365 suite of tools for their daily work

Training employees to be multi-skilled workers by taking on multiple roles and develop skillsets that are needed for our Security+ offering

Providing customised leadership programmes for employees that are curated in partnership with Institutes of Higher Learning to train them to become leaders that will drive the success and growth of Certis

Future Learning Office

The Future Learning Office (FLO) researches, expands and operationalises learning sciences and delivery methods to enhance individual, team and organisation’s learning performance in Certis.

The FLO equips Certis Corporate University with best-in-class learning and knowledge management capability to promote continuous learning.

FLO is global-focused, and comprises two branches – current learning branch and learning development branch.

Technology Learning Centre

One of the key roles of the Technology Learning Centre is to introduce innovative learning technologies and methods. This enhances the learning experience and make learning more engaging for employees in Certis.

Working with technology partners and institutes of higher learning, Technology Learning Centre designs, develops and implements training programmes that incorporate technologies such as virtual realities and augmented simulations.

Centre for Culture and Leadership Development

The Centre for Culture and Leadership Development (CCLD) drives global leadership and culture development in Certis. Guided by the belief that every Certis employee is a leader, CCLD designs and delivers leadership development programmes for all levels of leadership in Certis to help them grow as a leader.

CCLD also partners Institutes of Higher Learning to research, identify and implement performance and culture building instruments and programmes to enhance team and organisational effectiveness.

Registrar and WSQ Office

The Registrar and WSQ Office (RWO) is the backbone of CCU and provides daily operational support for all training programmes. We collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute end-to-end processes that cover course enrolment, attendance records and results collation.

RWO also oversees all facilities and event management functions at Certis Bukit Timah.

Certis Academy

As Certis’ very own Accredited Training Organisation endorsed by SkillsFuture Singapore, Certis Academy (CA) provides training for accredited Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications as well as other security specific courses for our business units.

Security Training Centre

Security Training Centre (STC) ensures Certis' officers are always ready to face evolving security threats by providing holistic training that exceeds regulatory requirements.

Advanced training is also provided to the officers, including upskilling and reskilling for new deployments, functions and job grades.

Scenario-based and integrated operations training are also conducted to help our officers prepare for different operations and deployments.

Aviation Security Training Centre

Aviation Security Training Centre (AvSTC) conducts functional training including Access Control, Passenger Screening as well as X-Ray Screening for Cabin Bags & Checked-in Baggage.

Using a combination of hands-on practice and the latest technology including e-Learning, training simulators and audio visual tools, AvSTC increases the training efficiency and effectiveness of officers.

AvSTC is working towards becoming the Centre of Excellence for aviation security training that harnesses the best practices and conforms to international standards as communicated in the National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NCASTP).

With the wealth of expertise and experience, AvSTC also provides customised training and shares best aviation security practices with global airport operators.

Maritime Security Training & Consultancy

Maritime Security Training & Consultancy (MSTC), a Recognised Security Organisation (RSO) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, conducts intermediate Verification Audit, Renewal Verification Audit as well as the conduct of mandatory drills and the Summary Exercise as part of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code requirement.
