ThinkersBox provides enrichment classes for kids geared towards enhancing their brain development. We stimulate children’s thinking process through interactive brain development activities.

What is Brain Development Training?
Brain development training is a process where your child works on targeted brain-based activities to help them improve their focus, sharpen their visual skills, boost their speed of learning and enhance their logical thinking processes. This is very much like physical training, such as going to the gym and doing targeted exercises to build specific muscles.
ThinkersBox’s brain training programme is based on the Structure of Intellect Theory (SI) (Dr. J.P Guilford) where we understand that each learner has a different profile of intellectual abilities and through targeted practice, we can develop and enhance these abilities to support the child to have a more effective learning process.
Our brain training programme uses proprietary brain-based activities and worksheets that are designed to cater to the learning needs and requirements of our local students.
Some key features such as the use of gamification and live coaching with immediate feedback for our Online Brain Booster Training Programme, and incorporating Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic activities to support all learner types in our Cognitive Training Programme.

What’s The Difference Between Brain Training and Academic Enrichment?
The brain training programmes offered at ThinkersBox are not academic-based enrichment or tuition. We are a brain development training centre, specializing in development of key brain skills for effective learning.
The purpose for brain training is to improve cognitive abilities such as learning capacity, critical thinking and boost knowledge absorption to help your child with not just their academics, but also in anything and everything they do.
Here’s a table that we’ve made to help explain the differences between brain development training and academic enrichment:
Brain Training
- The ‘HOWs’ of learning

This quote perfectly encapsulates the differences between brain development training and academic enrichment, with ‘Give a Man a Fish’ being academic enrichment, and ‘Teach a Man to Fish’ being brain development training.
What are the Right Brain and Left Brain used for?
Here are what the different hemispheres of our brain are responsible for:

While it may be tempting to believe that people have ‘dominant’ sides of the brain, the left and right halves of the brain can differ in activity depending on the task at hand, but both are necessary to be whole, and no half is strictly better than the other.
ThinkersBox does not offer ‘right brain training’ or ‘left brain training’, as we believe in holistic whole brain development, making sure that both halves of the brain work well together.
We pride ourselves on being the brain development centre that can develop your child’s cognitive abilities and fundamental brain processes, enabling them to receive, process, understand, retain, analyse any and all incoming and outgoing information more effectively and confidently.
