Mr Linus Lin
Our Science HOD, Mr Linus, bring over 20 years of teaching exprience. He adds value for students by using real-life examples to explain Science concepts and teaching practical academic techniques.
Ms Ho Ying Ying
Our English HOD, Ms Ho, has been a passionate educator for more than 25 years, using her expertise as a full-time MOE teacher. She was also a former Level Head and 'O' Levels Oral Examiner in various secondary schools.
Mr Lim Shao Jie
Mr. Lim, an NTU graduate with a BA (Hons) in Chinese and a Master’s in Chinese Translation, has been teaching since 2011. He is committed to making Chinese easy and relatable for his students.
With 12 years of English teaching experience, he focuses on cultivating students' independent study habits. As a tutor, he encourages students to both acquire and share knowledge, fostering a well-rounded worldview.
Ms Eveline Tan
Ms. Eveline brings over a decade of teaching experience from MOE schools and is very well-versed in the MOE English syllabus and STELLAR guidelines. She was also a former Level Head in various schools.
Mr.Ryan brings over 8 years of experience from MOE schools and top tuition centers, delivering a proven blend of expertise and dedication. He employs a systematic approach to optimize each student’s learning journey.
Ms Lorraine Loh
Ms Lorraine takes a clear, back-to-basics approach to English, breaking concepts down step by step so students learn with confidence and clarity. Through structured teaching and healthy competition, she keeps lessons focused, purposeful, and motivating—helping students steadily regain confidence in English.
Mr Melvin Chong
Mr Melvin brings Science to life by linking concepts to real-world examples students encounter in everyday situations. This practical, relatable approach builds deeper understanding, confidence, and genuine interest beyond memorisation.
Ms Cynthia Pang
Math & Sci Teacher
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Ms Cynthia brings a patient, nurturing, and structured approach to Math and Science. Using clear explanations and relatable real-life examples, she builds confidence and helps students think independently with curiosity and resilience.

What Kind of Support Do We Offer to Parents & Students?

Here’s the support we provide:
1. We will place parents, students, and tutors together in a WhatsApp group. This is so you can easily reach our tutors when you have any questions. Note that we will also be improving our communication with our parents and students by moving to ClassDojo in the future, so keep a lookout for that!
2. We have a special homework helpline for Science students, known as the Atom Group. We also provide an online resource library (thinkinn.xyz) for English, Science, and Math subjects.

Do You Offer Trial Classes/One-Time Lessons?

Yes, we do. We offer learning experiences (online/in-person) for every class and for all levels.

What is the Duration of Your Classes?

Our tuition classes are typically 2-hours long.

Where Are Your Classes Held?

Our in-person classes are held in Ang Mo Kio (727 Ang Mo Kio Ave 6, #02-4264, Singapore 560727).
We also hold hybrid (a blend of online & in-person) tuition classes for certain subjects and levels.

What is the Class Size?

Here are the class sizes for each level & subject:

Small classroom sizes do not only provide your child with personalised attention. We also believe small classrooms help them focus better with fewer distractions, and give our tutors more opportunities to provide constructive feedback, rather than being overwhelmed by student numbers.
In a school setting, a teacher usually has to teach multiple classes, with many students. Let's say a teacher handles 5 classes, with 35 students each. This means managing 175 students, which would make it time consuming to give detailed feedback to each and every one of them. These students may also not get a chance to get help on homework or ask questions as well.
This is why we believe in smaller class sizes, so our tutors can give your child the personal guidance they need.

Is Tuition Necessary for your child?

The question of whether tuition is necessary for students is a complex one, and we believe it depends on the specific learning needs and goals of your child.
If your child is facing difficulties in school, it is true that private tuition can improve their grades and boost their self-confidence. Having a tutor who can give personalised attention to your child can make the world's difference when it comes to learning.
However, tuition is not absolutely necessary, and it is mainly a catalyst to help your child achieve a solid foundation in each subject or serve as additional help if they're struggling in school.
